Days to the Season: 52
Days to Christmas Day: 94

And the major Milestone?
Well by now, you must be aware that it is the THREE QUARTERS point to Christmas Day and that said marker will arrive in just THREE days.
That's less than HALF a week away!
(This is getting scary, Folks.)


Well, we had a brief storm yesterday afternoon to break the monotonous weather pattern. (And we can use the moisture.)
Today should be dry though, and it has dawned here in the capital city at 66 degrees.


Weekend Eve. It has arrived again!
I hope it is a good one for you, and that you have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!

I was delivering a workshop last night and although I had it marked on my calendar; I neglected to inform the "audience" that it was Virginia O'Hanlon Day (1897 - wow - long-lasting story).

Forgive my merry forgetfulness.

I even reminded myself in the shower yesterday so there are no excuses.

Morning MMC! Today we expect a mixture of sun and clouds with a high of 78. How's everyone's week been so far? Well we've got 1 more to go to get to the weekend. Should be a good weekend I hope. I am going to the mall Saturday and might go hiking Sunday. Other than that trying to relax and enjoy. Happy Autumn and TGIF! Doesn't feel like Autumn as it's going to be very warm this weekend into next week as well. Have a great 1st day of Autumn!

Happy Fall Y'All!! So glad it is Friday!! We don't have too much planned for the weekend. My youngest daughter is going to a sleepover tonight and then headed to Six Flags tomorrow for Fright Frest! I think on Sunday we are going to go to the beach, I am sure the last time for the season. I am also determined to get my outside decorated for fall. I need to get my mums and put out my scarecrow.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

We spent the evening going to Walmart, getting Elizabeth's Homecoming dress altered, and feeding Jacob (that sounds like feeding cattle...it ain't much different). Lots of stuff to do, and a short time to do it.

I'm going up on the roof in the morning with the chainsaw. I'm no Paul Bunyan, but I think I can knock it out pretty easily.

I feel like we just opened the pool! We had a very late start this summer because we had to wait for the new liner to be installed. Oh well, we'll be sure to open it early next year. I'm so excited that Autumn begins tomorrow! Hope you have a nice night Holiday!

wow is it hot today !! 36c with the humidity . Thats 96f for all you folks south of the boarder.
on top of it my vans ac decided it has had enough and does not work and then I blew a fuse and none of the windows would open.

Oh yikes! That's quite a predicament!!! Whew!

Years ago a descendant of Virginia was on the Antiques Roadshow with the original letter Virginia sent to the editor. I don't remember if they actually put a value on it. I DO remember that the appraiser (rightly) called it a national treasure. Wouldn't it be a thrill to hold that letter in your hands?

Jose is stalled offshore, so we're chilly, dark, and windy here. It fits the first day of fall, though.
Started the day at the dentist. I need a crown ... ugh.
Everyone here at the office is hoping for a less hectic day today than the rest of the week has been, but from the level of activity, I think we're going to be busy right up to the weekend, and some of us INTO the weekend. I have my fingers crossed that I won't have to work, so I can get recharged for the next crazy week.
