Gosh, I made (rather, finished) one of those in a ceramics class when I was 15. My grandparents used it for years. I don't know what became of it after my grandparents passed away. I ordered one similar to it from the Vermont Country Store a few years ago for my aunt.
Bronners sell the ceramic trees also. I hit up Amazon last year to get a package of the replacement pieces, somehow they always disappear. Thanks, I'll take a look at the Vermont Country Store. Yes, it seems there is a lot of nostalgia when it comes to these Ceramic Christmas trees.
Thanks Crown! Have a great 1st weekend of Autumn!Good Weekend Morning, Christmas Supporters!
And it's a weekend of lasts.
The last weekend of the third quarter of our Christmas Day count.
The last full weekend in September.
.....And the last weekend before Christmas Blossoms 2017 is launched!
(No Belks or A Christmas To Remember photos yet, but between Hallmark and The Neuse Sport Shop, I've got pictures all lined up with which to launch the thread some time next week!)
OK. Today's count information:
Days to the Season: 51
Days to Christmas Day: 93
And our pending Milestone?
It's the 3/4 marker to Christmas Day, you know.
But what you might not know, unless you are a regular reader, is that it arrives THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!
(Wow, Guys.)
The weather remains warm but reasonably comfortable, thanks to continued acceptable humidity.
We should have a sunny and dry weekend ahead of us and it has begun here in our part of the great MMC Nation at 66 degrees.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody.
Enjoy your weekend, and may your college and pro football teams of choice find victory!
Our 7-10 day forecast shows a 15-20 degree drop too. Autumn is on it's way.Good morning, everyone! Hope this finds you well.
We just ended summer and now it is time for Summer 2. No signs of fall, yet. Temps are going to continue to hover around 90. BUT....there is a hint of winter at the end of the week. The 10 day forecast shows a drop to the mid-70's starting on Thursday, so I'm very, very hopeful...
Been a long, long week. A lot of ups and downs....I'm ready for a couple days of predictable behavior. Yard work, cooking, and watching football is on that I have lined up.
See ya around today. I need to go finish a paper for college.
Here's a link to it at their online store: https://www.vermontcountrystore.com/ceramic-christmas-tree/product/67028Thanks, I'll take a look at the Vermont Country Store. Yes, it seems there is a lot of nostalgia when it comes to these Ceramic Christmas trees.
Nothing better than spending the day at a 93 days to Christmas craft fair and watching Christmas on qvc on a 96 degree day. I didn't pick up anything at the craft fair but I did pick a couple lanterns at the Christmas tree shops.

At $7.99 I couldn't pass them up.
How's your weekend, everyone?
SO happy now that the weekend is here. It was such a slamming week at the office ... we have a box of single-dose Advil packets there, and I saw the empty box in the trash yesterday. I worked late every night this week, and woke up with a headache this morning that I can't shake off. But I'm getting through all the usual Saturday chores just the same. We're going to go out for a late lunch-early dinner, and I may demolish a steak or some fried chicken ... I only had about one decent dinner this week! Looking forward to some movies and crochet this evening!!
