How can it be Monday already???? Hope you all had a great weekend!!! It was a warm one!

Well half of one anyway... lol. Good Morning Holiday. It is indeed a Merry Monday (and let's not forget that Christmas will arrive on a Monday this year). I think the reason you have a quick Monday arrival is probably due to your very active weekends. You get so much out of them that all of a sudden... it is Monday!
I hope this one as well as this last week of September is good to you. Have fun...

You don't even want to get me started on the move. Even though I said I wasn't going back out, I've ended up there every day. Her boyfriend who has been off of work all week has hooked up his computer and the tv. That's it. Stands around yelling the rest of the time for the kids to put stuff away. I made some comments Wednesday night to him and was ready to deck him by the end of last night.

It's crazy how hot it is. My ac has been running for days when I should be able to open the windows.

Oh man! It sounds like a stressful move!! Sounds like someone needs to light a fire under the boyfriends hiney!! And I hope they are settled in & all is calm now!

The AC ran non-stop all weekend & it continues...

Merry Saturday!
Wow autumn is officially here. Hope you all enjoyed a beautiful first day of fall. We had our first autumn fog sweep in earlier this week and temps plummeted to frosty starts. Leaves are turning red and gold everywhere I look and falling in heaps now.

It has been great to welcome autumn with my mum here as she usually goes back at end of summer when she visits. We have been shopping Halloween decorations. She leaves on Monday so enjoying our weekend together. Always very tough seeing her go but focusing on the good things about to unfold. Besides, her annual visit will soon be here again before I know it!

Well hope you all have a great weekend. I will be hoping this weekend takes it's time.

The weather remains warm but reasonably comfortable, thanks to continued acceptable humidity.
We should have a sunny and dry weekend ahead of us and it has begun here in our part of the great MMC Nation at 66 degrees.

Hello and happy Saturday!

It is another REALLY HOT day! Went to the local farmer's market this morning and it felt like a mid-July morning. YUCK!

Today is Homecoming for my oldest(Nathan). His last high school homecoming dance. It is crazy that he is a Senior! The group he and his date is going with are headed to a lovely covered bridge to take some pictures before the dance. That should be a great spot for pictures.

We just got his Senior pictures back today; they were out in the woods and turned out great!

I have some lesson planning to do today. My youngest (Henry) has a football game tomorrow. Not looking forward to coaching out in the 90 degree heat. I feel bad for the kids having to wear all the equipment and run around in the heat.

How's your weekend, everyone?

SO happy now that the weekend is here. It was such a slamming week at the office ... we have a box of single-dose Advil packets there, and I saw the empty box in the trash yesterday. I worked late every night this week, and woke up with a headache this morning that I can't shake off. But I'm getting through all the usual Saturday chores just the same. We're going to go out for a late lunch-early dinner, and I may demolish a steak or some fried chicken ... I only had about one decent dinner this week! Looking forward to some movies and crochet this evening!!

Happy Saturday .. taking a break from doing yard work, we got the grass cut, weed waking done and the front porch cleaned off and almost ready for the fall/halloween decorations. Just have to finish weeding the flower beds and that is gonna take a while since ts been a while i last weeded them and the weeded took over. Was suppose to go to a Pumpkin Carve event tonight but my son isn't feeling good so plan B is making a fresh pan of brownies and watching The Lost Boys with the family tonight. Was in Walmart this morning and found an aisle half filled the ornaments, ribbon and tree toppers Its getting closer and closer! Hope everyone has a great day.

Since you are in good practice, you're more than welcome to come take care of our weeds, that are taking over! Grrrr!

Nothing better than spending the day at a 93 days to Christmas craft fair and watching Christmas on qvc on a 96 degree day. I didn't pick up anything at the craft fair but I did pick a couple lanterns at the Christmas tree shops.

Happy Milestone day!

Hello friends. It was brutally hot over the weekend and will take a step down today, but still looks to hit the low 80's here in KC. However, the forecast this week looks to be dropping to the high 60's and low 70's. That fall weather seems to be on the horizon.

Greetings. Our brief heat spell was over on Friday and we had a nice weekend, though Sunday started the rain (which is still going on and off today). You will be getting what we already have and will be in the forecast for the next couple of weeks at least.
Enjoy the upcoming cool weather and just think... it is almost leaf raking time... lol

Hi Festive. I hope and pray she will have a very safe flight. Two huh? How far away does she live? I'm glad you guys had a nice time and obviously you both look forward to this even each year. More of us should have these times ahead of us and for us.

Good afternoon, gang! Hope all is well. Got that paper finished today and I'm about to try to go outside and do something fun. Probably could mow the yard, but think I'd rather not....

We went grocery shopping yesterday and got something for Bambina's birthday party next weekend. She actually turned 4 today, but we are going to celebrate next weekend. Can you believe it has been 4 years already? I'm at a loss...where did the time go?

Football Sunday is in full effect. Y'all have a good one!

SO hard to believe Bambina is 4 years old already! Hope she had a great birthday & she has a fun party this weekend!

Good Sunday evening! Am I glad this work weekend is over. It wasn't that busy (with these insane Summer days here, people were out I guess), but sometimes that makes it worse, the day just drags on forever. It's 6:30pm and still 38°C/100°F with the hunidex right now, it's crazy! They say Fall temperatures should arrive on Thursday. About to go eat something that does not involve a hot stove and will relax catching up on the dvr tonight. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Whew!!! We never hit 100º but we were in the mid 90's! Hope you enjoyed some ice cream (or something cold!)
