Didn't mean to confuse you, there. I simply meant that we are nearly on the brink of something, about which we will find out after the presentation of today's figures.

Days to the Season: 39
Days to Christmas Day: 81

And near the brink, we are.
Yes, my Friends. As of Saturday, we will be NINETY PERCENT of the way to Christmas Season 2017 and will then enter the HOME STRETCH run to the referenced Season.
(Astounding. Simply astounding!)


Well, the warmth is slowly seeping back in, and we will be in the 80's for the remainder of the week rather than the 70's. But with continued moderate humidity, it should still be fairly nice.
Our current temperature reading is 60 degrees here in the capital city.

And before that Home Stretch mark is reached, we have Weekend Eve to get excited about!

Good morning and Happy Thursday!
It's going to be mostly cloudy today with highs near 77 degrees. I'm going to take a ride to Hallmark today to pick up a couple of cards. I'll have to play with the Christmas ornaments while I'm there I'll be heading back there again this weekend because there is another ornament debut event. I need to stop at the post office today as well. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be stuffed pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes & roasted asparagus. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day <3

Good rainy morning Christmas friends!! It looks like night time outside! We sure need the rain, though I'm sure my hubby would rather be out in the field this morning to git 'r done! Maybe tomorrow!

Not much going on today besides work. I got all the spaghetti sauce canned last night. The house still smells amazing! Little Lucy is getting so darn big! She figured out how to go down steps last night so she was upstairs, downstairs, upstairs, downstairs...then down the basement! Here we go... Here she is after a swim in her pool:

Morning MMC! Today we expect some times of sun with a very warm high of 81. Wow not quite October weather huh? More like late summer still. Is anyone off Monday for Columbus Day? I'm not but I am taking the Monday after off. Haven't taken a day off in a couple of months now. I miss those long summer weekends sometimes lol. Rollins loves playing after our walk every night. All I do is say "wanna play" and he runs and grabs his ball. He sure keeps me busy. Have a great Friday Eve!

Loki is like that after supper as well. He'll lie on the floor looking at us and all we have to say is "donne" (give in French) for his little tail to start wagging and for him to scramble to find a toy for us to throw. Enjoy your day Edge.

Well, the "loopy" medicine that they gave Mama to take before the surgery was plenty loopy. I had to help her to the car, then to the office chair! LOL I took her home later, and stayed with her while she slept. I made sure her head was clear and she could navigate the house before I came back to work.

She's insisting on us eating dinner with her tonight! Stubborn Mama LOL.

Woo! Must have been some good drugs! Very nice of you to help her out! How was dinner? Hope mama is doing well after her procedure!

Oh my goodness, she's growing so fast! Cutie! I remember when David was trying to get Loki to do down stairs (we're on the second floor). David would go down a few steps and encourage Loki to come and he was so little and nervous and you could tell that all he wanted was to be with David but he was so unsure. Oh my goodness, she's growing so fast! Cutie! I remember when David was trying to get Loki to do down stairs (we're on the second floor). David would go down a few steps and encourage Loki to come and he was so little and nervous and you could tell that all he wanted was to be with David but he was so unsure. Hope you have a great day Holiday!

That's exactly how Lucy is. She would go up the stairs & then bark & bark b/c she couldn't get back down. If we would bring her half way down, she would do the rest, but it was just too intimidating from the top! Until last night she was only ever in the basement once, so I'm sure she'll have a lot of exploring to do down there now!

Poor thing was hot and thirsty, all he had to do was go get a drink of water but no, he had to wake us up for that, silly dog. I only managed to fall back asleep around 5:15am and got back up an hour later. Already got laundry done, grocery list ready and will be heading out for a couple of things in a few. Yeah it's too long of a stretch from Labor Day to Thanksgiving. Got to break it up a bit. I am never bored with him around...and I'm tired when it's bed time.

So my brother in law gets a new hip today!! Yesterday was his birthday, today is their wedding anniversary & he's celebrating with a new hip! They had to be at the hospital at 8:30 this morning & they were told he would be in surgery by 10:30. Praying it all goes very well. He was in a lot of pain, it was time!!!
