A very happy Tuesday to the MMC community. Busy weekend that now becomes a busy week. But I did get up early, got to my weekly Bible study, raked leaves in the front yard and now I will head down to the Hallmark store. They called yesterday to say an ornament I purchased is now in, along with the North Pole 1820 Communicator Cartridge for 2017. That and a quick stop by the Zoo will take care of my morning activities before getting ready to catch a few winks and prepare for another set of shifts.
Today is my daughter Amber's birthday, but she will be gone most of the day and so we had her "Favorite" dinner from Azteca's last night. She thinks that is all, but Connie and I will still have her birthday presents waiting for her when she gets home this evening.
Halloween is almost on us. Everyone got their candy ready to go?

I had a weird dream which was a cross between closing time at work and Game of Thrones. It was so chilly this morning that it felt good to be under the covers. I did some laundry this morning and finalized the invitations for our work Christmas party and uploaded them to be printed. Now time for some leftover soup to warm me up a bit. It is...and Bambina is sick as she can be. It was a long, long night and has been an even worse morning. Bless her heart, she is in bad shape. Fever, vomit, and you can guess what else....not the best of morning here. We have been going since 1:30ish last night. I'm in the middle of washing blankets, sheets, pillow covers, couch cushion covers, rugs from the bathroom, rugs from the living room, and rugs from the hallway. Needless to say, there are clothes from all three of us that need to be washed...multiple sets of clothes....

But you know what....it is all good. Christmas is coming and it is coming fast!

On a sidenote, can you give Pepto to a four year old?

Run, run, run that’s all I do anymore. At least I got some Christmas shopping done while I was out this morning.

Last year the new owners held a Christmas porch decorationing contest for our apartment complex. I’ve never been much of an outdoor decorating guy so I didn’t bother entering. Well when I found out that the winner got $150 off of their rent, I was kicking myself. So for the last couple weeks, I’ve been planning what to do and buying the stuff to make it happen. I want to blow everyone else out of the water.
Now today, in our monthly newsletter, they announced a fall porch decorationing contest. No info on the prizes again though. Hmmm, what to do...

I went with Nancy to take her sister for surgery yesterday. It went well, and we were home by lunch, but getting to Savannah by 6 am is tough! I'm an early riser, but I like to watch TV and sip my coffee first LOL.

The fair is in nearby Statesboro this week, and Elizabeth's dance studio was walking in the fair parade yesterday afternoon, so I went with her to the 'Boro after I got back from Savannah. The fair is a big deal over there, and all the schools shut down for the week...no kidding.

Tomorrow my niece will be born! They are supposed to start induction (?) tonight on Jim's wife, so I'll be away tomorrow, too.

You're a busy man. Its neat the schools close for the fair. Congratulations on a new niece. We will be praying all goes well.

I was 8 when the Great Pumpkin first aired in 1966. Have never missed a year watching it.

This is my kind of weather! Cool air and warm sun and beautiful blue sky today as I went to my appointments this morning. I agree though that is seems many leaves have fallen yet I don't remember seeing much color! I hope we don't get cheated this year...I love taking pictures of the leaves of fall!

Good evening Martine. My own sleep (especially on my days off), go back and forth, so I have definitely been there with the "back to sleep" arena. I usually have weird dreams these days, must be my diet... lol. I hope the rest of your day went very well...

Hi Sugarmuffin. Yes, I enjoy the current weather too. Mostly because I can still get some yard work done. Now that you mention it, the vast majority of leaves I have raked up have all been green as well. Still got about a third of the leaves still on the trees, so we will see. Have a nice evening...
