Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good Afternoon and Happy Nov 1st 
Kids had fun last night but we didn't get a lot of trick or treaters, only through about 2 - 2 1/2 bags of candy. After work today the Halloween decorations come down (inside and outside) and the rest of the fall decorations go up along with the inflatable Mr. Turkey. I think this weekend we will start pulling down the outside Christmas Decorations to start testing the lights to make sure everything is ready to go Thanksgiving weekend. Can't waste any of the preciouses day light replacing bulbs as we got a lot decorating to get done during that time. Its getting closer and closer but I really wish time would really slow down some.

Good morning everyone! Happy November! It makes me so excited to say that! I am officially starting the Christmas music today (although I did cheat and played some on a long car trip last week!). I will be checking out Sirius because I believe one of their Christmas channels starts today! It is a cold rainy day here so I am thinking baked breaded chicken and homemade mashed potatoes and peas sound great for dinner. Have a few errands to run; hope everyone has a fantastic November 1st!

At least you've had time to watch Hallmark Christmas. Our DVR is the only one in the house that's gotten to enjoy it, thus far.You made me realize I haven't watched Garfield Halloween yet this year. I must do that tonight! (IF I can stand to turn off Hallmark Christmas)

Good afternoon sugarmuffin!! Sirius has 2 stations that went to Christmas today - Channel 4 - Holiday Traditions & Channel 70 - Holly. If you were to get in my vehicle at the moment you would be listening to Holly!
Music Choice Sounds Of The Season also started with Christmas today! (Thank you @CGYager ) That is what you will find Miss Lucy listening too this afternoon while I'm at work!

Between it being November, Hallmark Christmas Movies on TV, 2 Channels on Sirius XM going Christmas & Music Choice going Christmas today I can hardly stand it!! So ready to put up my tree!! 
Actually I'm thinking of starting in the sunroom, putting up 2-3 bottom rows of the tree just to see what Lucy will do to it & let her get use to it! It's going to be a disaster! It was cold/damp/yucky at lunch & look what she was doing to the pumpkins!!!
How do I keep that away from the tree's??? LOL

Oh my goodness, those pictures made me giggle. Shes a little stinker, isn’t she? Good luck with the trees. I think it’s a good idea to start early and see how she does. I have my hands full with the four cats, it’s a challenge!
I can't argue with that idea, either. I'm still going to try and remain committed until the 13th though.
My day went well. It was somewhat easy. For the next two days, I'm in the 7/8 world. It will be a little more difficult. I am not a huge fan of the age group (I prefer older), but I enjoy these kids so it should be an OK two days in the same class!
