Plenty of stuff out... very few stores have went into total Christmas mode just yet. I'm sure that will change in the next week or so!

We are about 16 days of last year's pace!

Nice, Brent.
Thanks!

You're welcome. I'm still waiting to walk into a store and be fully emerged with Christmas. Perhaps I will feel it this weekend.

Well, the situation at Crabtree continues to develop!

1) through 3)
Long time readers know my mania for decorated street lamps and railings. Here are three shots of the former:

4) Altar'd State at Crabtree always has a beautiful holiday window display each year. I like the curved end glass.

I can't help but hear Andy Williams whenever I look at these photos. Always look forward to these and they're always beautiful!

Yep. it's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, alright!

But what's this?
Mysterious framework going up at center court!
I wonder what this will look like in a couple more days??

Gorgeous! That beautiful blue sky really makes the decorations pop!!

Look what I found today... My first sighting of a store blossoming into Christmas for the Season!

If only I could capture the smell of these, too!

A nice setup at the entrance:

Setting up the Loblaws store Christmas Tree. The next step was for it to travel up the ladder and be on full display on the ledge:

Chocolates and Christmas-themed balloons:

Yep. That's what I thought it was going to be!
(Odd that they completed and lit the top part like that.)
Can't wait to see the finished product!

The main mall garlands are now lit!

The decorative annual Lennox holiday items are now available at Macy's!
(I like their designs much better than Spode.)

Signboard in the mall walkway outside a jewelry store, making it clear that they are in the holiday spirit!

Was out at Crabtree this afternoon and their giant center court tree continues to take shape. Only the bottom 5 feet or so remain to be installed!
Also, now that Halloween Alley has closed, I inquired as to the status of "A Christmas to Remember". As I suspected, it will be going into HA's vacated space! You can see the empty space to the left of the tree on the bottom floor in the photos.
(Stay tuned!)

Hey, it's complete!
(And as Crocodile Dundee would have said, "That's a tree!")
It stands about 40 feet tall and stretches well above the second level as you can see in the photo.
The tree is brand new this year as are the other Crabtree decorations. It is well located at center court between the two columns and is right outside where "A Christmas To Remember" will be opening, shortly!

People were captivated by the tree and were taking photos of their kids in front of it so I had to wait quite a while to get this photo free of bystanders!

That Tree looks wonderful, Crown! Beautiful.

It is indeed.
But to truly appreciate it, you have to see it in person. It's the biggest indoor mall tree I've ever seen. And quite dazzling lit!
