I dropped it off after he left. It's weird cause it worked fine then...but the car has never given me a problem in 5 years so if something needs to be fixed I can't complain. I guess me and my car are both breaking down this week.

this is the tree I made for my Christmas at home cake in the upcoming competition. Still needs decorations. this is about 8" tall. It took 5 hours to make as each bough was made separately and then put on to form the tree.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!
Sorry I've been absent for a few days. The time change has ruined my sleep schedule, and work has gotten crazy. Our upper management has accepted an order for hundreds of poles to be delivered to Puerto Rico. The deliveries have to start next week, and finish by the end of the year. It's a great money opportunity, but we're working the plant to the extremes trying to get it done in time.
And Nancy starts a new part-time job this morning. She's very excited, since the business owner wanted an accountant he could trust and was willing to pay very generously. It's only a couple hours a day, so it won't interfere with anything else she does. Good for her...and us!
Anyway, it's supposed to be 85°F today, but only 60° by Thursday. Crazy!

Well to be honest it was a new thing on me - i've been gone from the UK for the whole time they've been around (my English grammar skills are also gone too it seems) - so i only discovered them on one of my xmas trips back.

We had one final warm and dry day yesterday.
Today will begin a cool and wet period, starting off this morning at 63 degrees, and it's not supposed to get any warmer by the afternoon.
OK! Get ready to measure your excitement quotient because TOMORROW, our annual and highly-anticipated Special Post Series begins!
Once again, here is the schedule:

Good Tuesday morning! It's a cold one, it was -1°C/30°F when I woke up. But still I refuse to turn the heating on. It is a beautiful sunny morning though, it's nice to get a break from the rain. I'm more and more in a Christmas mood. I recorded some episodes of the Christmas cookie challenge on Food Network, that'll keep my spirits up. Have a great day everyone!
Morning ... Well I have an unexpected day home today as my little guy is home sick .. looks like he may picked up a stomach bug and my DH went to work with a cold so I am not sure if he will last all day at work. Going to make a batch of homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner and maybe get some Christmas shopping done (online). Hope everyone has a great day!

So Thanksgiving with my in-laws is for lunch at noon on Thanksgiving Day! Bad news = that's the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when Santa comes!!!! Good news = they only live about 5 minutes from us! I might be just a few minutes late! (they don't watch the parade....EVER!) Lunch is usually not ready exactly at noon anyway! I'll put a bug in my MIL's ear that I will be there at 12:05...Ha ha!! I hate missing the end of the parade! Such a fun tradition!
We have a family meeting at our house tomorrow night, so I'm sure at some point we'll discuss what our Thanksgiving plans will be, if any! Can't imagine not having Thanksgiving with my family, but we have to do our best to keep mama healthy! xx
