Great day! I awoke to the start of the Christmas season and now there is snow coming down outside. It won't amount to anything on the ground, other than make it wet. But it sure is really nice and relaxing to look at while I'm working.
I'm so ready for winter. I'm itching to test out my new 4x4 in the Connecticut weather....

Soooo, brought my car in for a quick once over. I take it to my own mechanic not where I purchased it.
Everything runs fine, however there is no block heater - a must have for my merry neck of the woods. My husband said, I was being stubborn because I wouldn't call the dealership. I said, "Trust me on this one, it's better to go in person."
Well, I took it to the dealer waited for my contact to finish up with new clients. Another fellow helped me out for a moment ran the specs. on the vehicle and said it didn't come with a block heater. When I met with the original salesman, I reminded him of our chat and the time when he opened the hood and said, "There it is, but the cord must have slipped down." Guess what? We strolled out to the car, I popped the hood and he couldnt' find it.
Result - they're installing a new block heater free of charge.
Was I stubborn or is it more difficult to pull a fast one over the phone than it is in person? I knew he couldn't lie to my face; I'd read his body language with ease.
My husband apologized for doubting my way of dealing with it. Mojo will have a heater installed next Monday (earliest we could swing it.)
Happy to discover that grinding noise I heard yesterday driving about with laundry and collecting Eggnog was a good sound - ABS is in fine shape. Gonna come in handy as the snow flies. It's mild now and what we had yesterday is nearly gone.
Got a few more cards finished and now I'm going to have a wee nap; trying to catch up on sleep missed last night; well worth it to be present for the switch over from regular countdown to being "in the season".
