Happy Saturday!
I took down all my fall decorations down and my tree is up but we will decorate it tomorrow as my youngest is at a bday sleepover tonight.
I had a relaxing day, we had more leftovers and then my husband made a turkey soup for dinner..it was really good.
Hope you all had a great day!

Holly is all lit up! Stage 2 of making her even more beautiful will commence tomorrow.

It's almost 11, been going at it strong all day around here, putting Ikea furniture together, installing a shelving in one of the room, unpacked a bunch of boxes, and threw a lot away also. We did this while listening to Christmas music. Then we organized every shelf, cabinet, pantry, etc... in the entire place. I think there will be no problem with sleeping tonight; I'm done...

I had a nice 4 day weekend, but tomorrows Sunday already and I feel like the weekend has just blown by. I like last week, having a 3 day work week. You know darn well, that this week will feel like it's dragging come Thursday.

Tomorrow, I foresee some Christmas cookies being made.....

A very happy Sunday morning to one and all. The last four days have been jam packed and it kept me busy and very tired. Friday and Saturday I was in the front yard from early morning till sundown. It is almost complete with just a few lighting touches and some rearranging of the electrical system to go. I'll hit that right after church this morning.
Then to the inside of the house. One 6.5" tree is already up and I have to decide which other tree will join it in the living room and then trim them both and add the special items all over the house. I am hoping to be finished by noon on Tuesday at the latest (that begins the new work week).
Most every present has been purchased and ready to be wrapped. Ten days remaining until vacation begins and my main bag is already packed, just my carry on and that won't take much.
I may be "listening" to a portion of the NFL today via radio. Talk about nostalgia. But that is a small price to pay to get things done!!!
Have a wonderful finish to your Thanksgiving weekend...

Good Sunday morning! We had a dusting of snow, it's looking beautiful and peaceful as it's still dark out and there's not a soul on the streets. It won't stick long term though, as temperatures will be on the rise again. In fact looking at a 2-week forecast, temperatures won't get below the freezing point, but I know how that can change. Using this morning for last-minute preparations for our work Christmas party tonight. I had to work a half a day yesterday for new hires training, so my weekend was cut way short. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

I'm sure you'll be counting down the days until your vacation CGYager. Christmas decorating sure takes a lot of time but then we get to enjoy it for the weeks to come. It's a good thing that you're almost done with presents, less stress later on. Wish I could say I was as organized as you are. Have a great day!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 14 **

Good Morning, Folks.
And WoW! After today we will have already completed TWO WEEKS of this year's Christmas Season. The time just races by, doesn't it?

And Christmas Day is not very far away now, too.
Just check out our count:
Days to Christmas Day: 29 (Now UNDER ONE MONTH left!)

(Did I say WoW?)

Pleasant here yesterday for late November. Calm and sunny.
Today should be nice as well, and we are predicted to top out at 60 by this afternoon.
We stand just over 44 degrees at this hour here in the capital city.

Have a Super Sunday, Everybody.
Enjoy the last day of the Thanksgiving holidays.
(Then start REALLY getting into full Christmas mode!)

Morning MMC! Definitely been a really busy Thanksgiving week here too. Got most of my shopping done Friday and Saturday. Today I have a few more errands to do and then a friend is coming over. Should be a good finish to what is an awesome week every year. Also, have to get ready to go to work tomorrow. Almost forgot about work! Have a great day!

Thanks Crown! Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving Week!

Good morning ~
Merry Sunday!
Well I just ate the last piece of pumpkin pie from Thanksgiving for breakfast :)
I have lots to do today. I have three trees up and decorated so far. I have two more to go. I hope to start my village today as well. I have to talk my husband in to letting me decorate earlier next year, this is a lot of work. Can't wait until everything is up so I can sit back and enjoy all of it.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

What a great week I've had! We spent last weekend through Wednesday in the Smoky Mountains, finding snow at higher elevations, touring the Biltmore House, and just relaxing, then we came home for a great Thanksgiving with family. Jacob & I went fishing Thursday afternoon, and had the BEST time!

Friday night, I along with a couple of my band mates, and other local musicians came together for an After-Thanksgiving Jam at a nearby popular brewery. I had such a great time being on stage again! We had a packed house, and a very responsive audience (which is always appreciated ;) ).

Yesterday, we had lunch with Nancy's niece & her new boyfriend, then we bought our Christmas tree and brought it home! We're decorating this afternoon.

I hope everyone's week has been as awesome as mine!

And I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning everyone.

Well today is the last day of Thanksgiving break. Three and a half weeks of school until Christmas break!

Plans for today: lesson planning, watch my poor Cleveland Browns, take my wife to see a Janet Jackson concert in Indianapolis this evening, get home really late and be tired for school tomorrow. lol
I bought the tickets to see Janet Jackson as a Christmas present TWO years ago!! Janet, then got pregnant and delayed the tour. Finally, we get to use the tickets.

Well, everyone have a wonderful Sunday!

Thxs Crown. Have a good end to "Turkey Time"

A BUSY day ... this is my day for wrapping and packaging gifts that will be mailed, and preparing a few gifts that will go to the office, and making sure cards are ready to go. It's a bit early yet, but it's a big job getting all that done, and I like to get it out of the way on Black Friday. Looking forward to relaxing this evening and trying to unwind after going at it solidly all day.
Merry!! Crocheted candy canes!!

Good Sunday morning everyone! It was such a nice relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. It was just my husband and I for dinner this year, and we said we weren't going to cook that much, but ended up with almost a full Thanksgiving meal including a new recipe I tried for maple bacon cornbread made in a cast iron skillet! Boy was it good!! I did not do any shopping this weekend but plan to check out cyber Monday tomorrow. We got our live tree last Wednesday and had it all ready and decorated for Thursday morning as is our tradition. Then, it was also our anniversary this weekend and we opted to celebrate it with a nice quiet evening at home, which was fine with me! I'm not a fan of crowds! Today I'm making spaghetti (need to eat something totally turkey unrelated!!) and will watch football and work on some cards! I hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday!
