Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
It was a sad Saturday morning to find that my friend and manager, Russell, passed away in his sleep after two years of struggling with ALS. Bless his heart, at least he's in Heaven and free of pain. Please keep his family in your prayers & thoughts.
I had such a busy day yesterday. I had Men's Breakfast at daylight at church, then church, then lunch with mom, then listening to Jacob's University Choir sing in church at a nearby town, then back to church for our Christmas party. Whew! I definitely got my church-time in yesterday.

Good morning MMC! How in the world is it Monday again already - December 4th???It was a good weekend, it was a stressful weekend, it was a busy weekend, it was a fast weekend. Mom is really weak! She sure could use some prayers if you have time! She told her caregiver this morning she is just so tired she can't go anymore.
I hate this for her!
My friend & I did have a lot of fun shopping together again on Friday - as always!) my brother, sil & moms neighbor (my Mom #2) came over to watch it on tv. Buckeyes played/won Saturday night. I made a triple batch of cinnamon rolls in-between all the action. Didn't get to bed until 1:30 in the morning. Whew! Yesterday was baby shower, then candy day at our house. The family singers are back again this year...

After this song our great nephew was asking for another song...ha ha ha! So Jingle Bells it was!So funny - goof balls!
Anyway, I need another day off to catch up! HA!

Good Tuesday morning! A day off for me, which means grocery shopping and laundry and chores. I feel congested, I think I'm coming down with something. Not surprised as we have had so many employees calling in sick this past week with the flu or fever and colds. Time today to make up the menus for when our families comes over for Christmas. And of course to watch another Christmas movie. Yesterday we watched Gremlins. Not a Christmas movie per se but set during Christmastime and one of my favourites. Have a great day everyone!
Morning MMC! A mild day out there today but maybe the last mild day for a while. Looks like a colder pattern for mid-December but then a warm-up leading into Christmas? That's what I'm hearing. Seems like we've had bad luck with timing with the weather for Christmas the last few years. If we get a normal chilly day we'd probably be lucky at this point. Just a lot to do at work today before I have off Wednesday to finish my Christmas shopping. Enjoy your day and watch a few Christmas shows!

I think I have around six boxes of Disney Ornaments. They can build up faster than you might expect... lol
Greetings MMC members. This is my one day of work before vacation. Getting a few things done this AM and then the rest (if any) tomorrow before we take off on Thursday.
Got some snow and sleet yesterday. For the yard, it looks nice and covers up the cords. For the sidewalk and driveway, it is a combination of shoveling and ice melt. The winds were so high yesterday that I had to unplug the inflatables, but I doubt there were many out looking at lights yesterday. Just a one-day winter hit and so I will get the items de-iced and ready to go for tonight.
I hope and pray that you are all having things go smoothly this Christmas season and have a great week...

(I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am with music, movies, and good fellowship.)
Our daily count:
Days to Christmas Day: 20 (We have now moved UNDER the three week mark!)
Warm for December yesterday and it will be warm again today, but by the weekend, all bets are off and winter will be making an appearance with highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's. Quite seasonal!
Currently, we show 46 degrees here on our back door thermometer and it looks like rain.

Good morning MMC! Merry St. Nick Eve to those who celebrate! I'm looking forward to it. I worked on more Christmas decs last night, making sure to get our stockings up so St. Nick can come!! Growing up, at Mom & Dads house he always came after supper on Dec. 5th (my sisters birthday) & he has continued that tradition at our house! 
Hopefully Lucy hasn't been so bad that he won't bring her anything!
