Christmas Countdown - 2017

Morning MMC! TGIF and December. It's December. Need I say more? Watched some Charlie Brown Christmas last evening. Rollins was such a handful it was unreal. He got into my box of chocolate cherries I ordered for Christmas. I have no idea how he got the box they sent them in open (it was taped obviously) AND into the candy box. Luckily he didn't eat many. He was actually just chewing on some. I guess the big 72 count is now a 62 count. As soon as I was trying to fix that problem he ran to another room and was causing more problems. No wonder I'm tired every night I go to bed. Happy Friday and December!

There must have been something in the air. Lucy was not a good girl at all for candy day!!!

Lulu has been a handful this week, too! Don't they know Santa Claus is coming to town?!?

I guess they are waiting till Christmas Eve to behave? I also notice that in the first half of the day he's MUCH calmer than the 2nd half. Even on weekends he's calm in the morning (for him) but by afternoon and evening he's all over the place.

Lucy is usually sweet in the mornings - wild girl at night. LOL

That Rollins is a sneaky one. And he seems to still have that new-puppy energy. Loki tried to eat the plastic wrapping of an empty M&Ms bag this week. I call him our crazy dog.

Lucy went to my sisters house for the day while I was shopping Friday. She said the only thing she destroyed was an empty box that had Christmas lights in it & she enjoyed that very much. LOL

Good morning MMC! How in the world is it Monday again already - December 4th??? It was a good weekend, it was a stressful weekend, it was a busy weekend, it was a fast weekend. Mom is really weak! She sure could use some prayers if you have time! She told her caregiver this morning she is just so tired she can't go anymore. I hate this for her!

My friend & I did have a lot of fun shopping together again on Friday - as always! Saturday our HS football team won state. I was with mom (after less than 4 hours of sleep on Friday night ) my brother, sil & moms neighbor (my Mom #2) came over to watch it on tv. Buckeyes played/won Saturday night. I made a triple batch of cinnamon rolls in-between all the action. Didn't get to bed until 1:30 in the morning. Whew! Yesterday was baby shower, then candy day at our house. The family singers are back again this year...

After this song our great nephew was asking for another song...ha ha ha! So Jingle Bells it was! So funny - goof balls!

Anyway, I need another day off to catch up! HA!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a sad Saturday morning to find that my friend and manager, Russell, passed away in his sleep after two years of struggling with ALS. Bless his heart, at least he's in Heaven and free of pain. Please keep his family in your prayers & thoughts.

I had such a busy day yesterday. I had Men's Breakfast at daylight at church, then church, then lunch with mom, then listening to Jacob's University Choir sing in church at a nearby town, then back to church for our Christmas party. Whew! I definitely got my church-time in yesterday.

Hello all!
It is amazing that is December 2nd already. I guess that happens when you stay busy.

The weather has been relatively warm so far, but that is going to change this week. Temps are suppose to drop into the 30s and 20s by week's end. I just hope the cold brings some snow too! I am ready for lots of snow. Last winter was a disappointment in the snow department. I hope we make up for it this year.

I hope everyone is having a good start to December. Though I am sure everyone will be busy, remember to take some time and relax and enjoy family and friend time. Bake cookies, drink eggnog and watch some wonderful Christmas movies!

I'm ready for some snow too - just don't tell my hubby I said that!

I watched one earlier today..cant remember the name now. A lady had to go to a Inn but a ghost of the former owner appears every Dec 12th to Dec 24th. Was a very good flick.

December 3rd and I have the windows and front door open. A little odd. Snow by the end of the week though. So I’m going to enjoy the sun while I can. I did take advantage of it to finish my outside decorations.

I need a bigger blowup but this is what I had laying around after finishing in front of the living room window and around the door. I may get something to hang in the windows but after Christmas I’ll pick up a few more things for next year.

Now to finish decorating the kitchen and bathroom.

Good morning all. It has been almost non-stop around here. Leaving for vacation in three short days. Ever since Thanksgiving, I have been going full steam to get everything done beforehand (along with work of course).
The house is all decorated and so is the yard (I'll post some photos later). Ten of the gift stockings are already filled and I will be doing some more wrapping and getting things ready today, along with some last minute shopping for the trip.
Trying to get all of the cards done as well, but some of you may be getting "Orlando" postmarks...
I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to get back on before I depart...

Morning MMC! I've got 2 mini weeks of work. I'm off Wednesday to finish Christmas shopping. I used to take off Wednesdays sometimes at my old job cause I liked how it did break up the week. It's unreal how fast Christmas is coming. But I was just looking at my tree taking it in. 2 weeks from today my brother will be here from San Diego as usual for Christmas. Seems like he just left here in July. Have a great Monday!

Nice to have short weeks ahead. How fun your brother is coming home!!

Not too much going on here today. I’m going to make a Walmart run later, haven’t been there in awhile. My middle one is off so she’s going to tag along with me and we’ll probably grab lunch while we’re out. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!
Oh here’s a picture of Rosie, I was hanging more ornaments on one of the trees yesterday and she decided to snuggle up on to the box of Shiny Brites and take a nap

I am so sorry to hear about Russell! It's hard to believe it's been 2 years. He fought a good fight. May he rest in peace. Prayers being sent up for him, you & his family!

Good morning, MMC! I had a busy weekend and did not get chance to log on...back to the grind today but I have 4 day work weeks up until Christmas and then I am off in between Christmas/New Years.

Haha, Rollins! Last night Leo got into a King size Kit kat that I had bought for my daughter's stocking. He had a couple bites but if I didn't catch him, I know the whole thing would have been gone! Lol
