Merry Friday MMC ~
I was going to some more Christmas shopping today but it looks like I have a change of plans. We’re expecting some snow tomorrow so I need to get my food shopping over with today. I’m just having a cup of coffee and working on a menu plan and grocery list right now. Maybe I’ll still head to the mall later this afternoon, if I feel up to it.

Good Thursday evening! As I feared my congestion is getting worse before it gets any better. I managed to get through this work day but I could feel things deteriorating as the day went on. We'll see how I am tomorrow. Came home to a funny sight: Loki messed around with the tree skirt to the point that it's no longer under the tree. I really wonder what he did there, he never paid any attention to the skirt before. Silly little one. Anyway hope everyone will have a great evening! Hoping I can stay awake to watch something Christmassy.

And as the days advance on towards Christmas Day, things just keep getting friendlier and friendlier!

Let's check on today's data straight away:
Days to Christmas Day: 17 (Now UNDER two and a half weeks left!)
(Better start shifting those plans into high gear!)


Early winter weather has arrived and our lows are supposed to be at or below freezing for eight consecutive nights starting tonight, with highs most days in the 40's or below. Some frozen precip is expected by this evening but nothing major in the way of any accumulation.
(Quite a change from our recent weather!)
We have begun this last day of the work week at 42 degrees here, and a light rain is falling.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I'm jealous of all this talk of snow. It's just cold and rainy here.

I went to Savannah with Nancy yesterday, and it didn't take long to remember why I don't go to Savannah. The traffic is getting nearly as bad as Atlanta! Ok, not THAT bad, but still...

She got some shopping done, though, while I made sure the mall Starbucks was operating at peak efficiency.

Good Friday morning! Woke up feeling more rested (surely thanks to Nyquill) and I think my cough is not as bad today. We'll see how I feel as the day unfolds and how I make it through work later on today. They're predicting colder temperatures and snow next week but it's still too far ahead, it can change. It would be nice to have a white Christmas. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday & TGIF!!!! My day has started off as "One of them days!" All is well, boss is just in an absolute tizzy over very minor things! He's making me crazy! HA! My sis who is supposed to be staying with mom today/tonight is sick. (just a cold/sore throat) so we're trying to get those hours covered. As I said, it's just one of them mornings!

We had a fun time last night for girls night out/house hopping. A good time was had by all. We were missing a couple, but 9 of us made it. Lots of laughs, good food & cheers!

Thank goodness I get out of work at noon, then I'm heading home to make peanut butter cups (Christmas candy to share since I didn't make them on candy day last Sunday) then I'll be staying with mom for a few hours. I'm pretty positive Jim will be working late, so I'll head home when my sis comes to replace me & I'll probably snuggle in for the night with a Christmas movie of some kind! We really don't have a lot of plans the rest of the weekend. That's unusual for December, but I'm really good with that! We are "supposed" to have snow tomorrow, and the weathermen better not be lying to me!!!! I'm excited to see what Lucy will do when there's actually snow on the ground!!

Good morning, everyone!

Friday morning. The second weekend of December is nearly upon us. Excitingly, the second weekend is when we also have our yearly Christmas Sweater wearing and fondue eating party. I look forward to this day every year. As always, it's going to be filled with plenty of laughs and good times with close friends.

I have a bunch of Blossoms photos from Pittsburgh and New York to post. I'll do that shortly, I hope. I might find some time today while "teaching." NYC was a magical experience. It's certainly something that everyone should do once in their lifetime, especially for us Christmas lovers. I'd like to get into more detail, but teaching awaits.

Morning MMC! TGIF! Watched Elf last night. I really like that show. The more I've watched it over the years the more I did. Not many weekends left before Christmas huh? I have to get my gifts wrapped starting this weekend and some baking will be happening with Christmas shows, the mall and a little Christmas party type thing at my Uncle's Sunday evening. Sounds like a good Christmas December Weekend to me. Enjoy your Friday!
