Good morning MMC! Guess what??? It's FRIDAY EVE!!! Woo Hoo! It's supposed to warm up today - a high of 29 is predicted! Right now it's 14 & windy & BRRRRR!! The roads were slick in spots coming in to work b/c of the blowing snow! It's supposed to be 50º by Monday so it will all be gone!! Booo!

Hubby came home sick with the flu bug last night. Round #2! It's so bad this year!! I slept on the couch last night. Hope I don't get it again!! Blah! Wish I could have stayed home today w/ him & Lucy, but not b/c of being sick!!! Thankfully, tomorrow is Friday!!

The flu bug is going around crazy here, especially in my youngest daughter's school. They have 2 teams for 6th grade. And one team had 55 out of 85 kids out with the flu bug or stomach thing and 3 out of the 4 teachers.
Knock on wood, we have been ok!

Wow!! That is a lot sick at once. They are talking about it right now on the news! Crazy year! Hope you all stay healthy!!!

No real plans for tonight. My husband is working late so I may do take out but not sure what yet?

Thanks Merry! It seems the flu has bypassed almost no one in some way the last couple months! With many people getting it twice!

Lol!! I say bring it on for a few days!! I’d like to be able to walk to the dumpster or mailbox without crampons. I’ve already put 30 lbs of salt down and it’s still an ice rink out there.

I hope you continue to avoid it!! xx The up & down temps don't help!! I think it's January & it's supposed to be cold & snowy - stay cold & snowy! But when it's mid March - start warming up, darnit!!!

I agree!! I have enjoyed chilling at home. Unfortunately it drives my hubby crazy. He's (almost) always ready to go!!! He gets stir crazy being at home all weekend! Of course this year it might have something to do with me spending so much time at Moms. It always feels nice to be home ~ but on that note, I love being able to help mom!

I forgot to tell you guys ~ I stopped at Ben Franklin after work yesterday. They had 85% off their Christmas isle. I got $58 worth of Christmas things for $8.70! SO FUN!!!!
