Prince Edward Island is a beautiful place. My wife and I love the island and I have a brother who lives there with his family. I guess I should point out that it is not part of Nova Scotia. PEI and NS are 2 separate Maritime provinces.....
Really? I always thought PEI was Nova Scotia. Interesting! Thanks for pointing that out! ;)

They are delicious but the side stuff also makes it better. Now I'm getting hungry.
:p Me too!
I'm working on our Feb 17th Christmas party - it's at our house for the lake peeps & we're having haystacks. Everyone is bringing something to contribute. Makes me hungry to think about it.

Ah the fun of locking yourself out of your home without having your phone on you...I changed my routine this morning when I was preparing to take out Loki for his walk, as I wanted to put on cleats that I bought to prevent from slipping on icy sidewalks, and I forgot my keys and phone. Loki got a nice long 40-minute walk to David's place of work, where I got his keys and drove back home. He will not let me live this down. Especially since it happened to him a couple of times in the past and I would tease him about it.

Oh yikes!! Glad you were able to get keys from David. That is a terrible feeling!!

Good afternoon ... its been lightly snowing all morning, nothing sticking to the roads but there is a coating on the grassy surfaces. I don't have any windows in my office so I keep getting up to "stretch" my legs by the windows :) It just looks so pretty outside. Have a great day!

Happy Tuesday, MMC!! Where the weekend go? Okay, I may have wasted it away watching a race for 24 hour straight hours. Not to much going on here. Both nieces are in school for the 2nd day in a row. So that’s good. Lol!! I’ve managed to get laundry caught up and errands run. Now to finish getting the house in order. I hope everyone is having a great day!!

View attachment 42561 Good morning! Big day for us today! And not in a good way....

In a little while, I’m taking my wife to the Ortho Clinic where her broken ankle will be assessed and surgery scheduled. She broke it last Thursday. Nasty injury that’s going to require some screws and maybe some other hardware. We’ll know more in a bit....

And one of my dear doggies is already at the vet for the beginning of his Heartworm treatment. He’ll be there all day so the staff can monitor his reaction to the medication. I hate it because he’s a nervous dog who spent a year in shelters before we adopted him. This can’t be easy for him.

I hope your wife’s surgery goes well. Wishing her a speedy recovery!
And I hope your sweet fur baby does well at the vet. He’s too cute!
xx

One vote for the gouda mac 'n' cheese with the trimmings ...
We went with all of the above...The pan pizzas were "The Westerner": Sliced roast beef, mushrooms, onions, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, with BBQ sauce and bacon..."The Monster": Sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and black olives.
My brilliant bride had the double fudge chocolate cake for dessert. I stuck with the afore mentioned treat.

Oh my goodness, I’ve done that before! Thankfully one of my neighbors was home. I used her phone to call my husband and he was able to come home and let me in the house. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day off!!!

We have had flurries off & on today, as well as sunshine off & on. I hope you are able to enjoy stretching your legs & looking at the snow as much as possible! :) There's no wind so it feels much warmer than 27º! Amazing how cold a little wind makes it feel!!

It's ok, after all the help you give with your nieces, you deserve to watch 24 straight hours of racing! :) My BIL is heading to Daytona on Friday for race MONTH! ;) I'm glad they are feeling better! Have a great day made!!!

What a feast! Sounds delicious!! Can't say I've ever had roast beef on a pizza before. Interesting!

No problem... I often can't help myself from giving brief geography lessons. ha ha Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are often grouped together with New Brunswick to form the Maritimes; and with Newfoundland and Labrador to form Atlantic Canada but they are 4 separate provinces. The island of Cape Breton is part of Nova Scotia.

Our neighbor has a key - thankfully! I've had to use it more than once!! We came home from a walk one night - completely calm night & our electric was out. Couldn't get in the garage!! Thankfully our neighbor was home so I could get the key. My Mom also has a key, but like Martine, I would have to go on a 30 minute walk!

Good choices! I'd have a slice of The Monster. And some of that mac 'n' cheese, if I had enough room.

Interesting!!! I'll have to go check it out! :)
