Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
I have the worst sore throat I've had in a while, it woke me up at 3am, and I can't speak. I don't think Nancy minds that part.The streets are yellow with pollen this morning, and you could see it blowing in the breeze yesterday, so I'm pretty sure where the sore throat came from.
We're supposed to have rain today, and I'm praying it will come and wash away all this yellow Devil-dust!

Good morning MMC! I'm SO happy to have this Merry place to come too on a Monday morning!! (and every other morning!)
I didn't get to watch anything Christmas over the Rudolph weekend. It was an eventful weekend at Moms. My SIL & great nephew came over Friday afternoon (He's SO darn cute!!!!), as well as the nurse & my sis came over Friday evening. Saturday my brother stopped in, another sister came over, moms neighbor joined us for a delicious chicken pot pie meal (@HomemakinGirl ) & I started her on her afghan- Yesterday Moms neighbor came over again for more crochet lessons, my sis stopped in again, my hubby brought us a Chicken Fajita pizza for supper & POOF, the weekend was gone! I did get a lot done on my afghan but I still have a few rows to go! Maybe tonight!! xx
Mom had such a good weekend. She's having a good day today too - it's a little scary...how long until she is going the other direction again?? She is a mystery!!
Today is a gorgeous Sunshiny day!!!
FYI - The Holiday is on Lifetime tonight!!! You know what I'll be watching!!! 7 pm EST!!
I'm looking forward to catching up on everything that went on in the forums over the weekend!

Merry Monday!
Had quite the wind storm late Saturday into Sunday and of course lost power. This time around it was out over 24 hours and today it was actually warmer outside than it was inside. I even got a bit of a sunburn on my face as I was sitting outside, enjoying the warmth. It is February, right? Sure doesn't seem like it, but later this week the cooler temperatures will be back and possibly even a snow shower.

Your sister is indeed very lucky to have you to help out. I think family support is so important. We have a lot of immigrants working at our store who don't have any family members here with them and I see how heavily it weighs on them whenever one of their children get sick, because they know they have to miss work because they don't have anyone to take care of them and they can't always afford to call a babysitter. You are one terrific uncle made.

Morning MMC. February is flying isn't it? Well Monday was a normal busy day at work and then taking Rollins to the park after was fun. Back into that routine hopefully till at least Thanksgiving now every day. We saw sun and today we should see some too. Been tough to see much of that lately. Hope you enjoy your next to last day of February!

How much longer must we wait?
The answer to that awaits.
Here we go:
Days to the Season: 259
Days to Christmas Day: 301
Well, we may have a ways to go until Christmas Season 2018, but it's not long at all before our next Milestone marker arrives.
By now, we are all aware that our next Milestone, the third one on our chart, will be here TOMORROW!!
Which is more exciting, Guys? The fact that tomorrow is day 300 before Christmas or that the following day will start a double-200's count?
(Tough choice!)
OK, the weather has taken the predicted cool turn. But we are grateful for the several days of warm weather in a row we have had.
And things are still nice for this time of the year. It's just that 60 seems so low after our recent upper 70's and 80's. We had some rain yesterday, too.
This AM has begun here at 43 degrees.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

It’s going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 52 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky. Trying to wear him out so he’ll take a nap. I need to do some food shopping while he’s sleeping. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I’m probably going to start my Spring cleaning as well. I want to have all of my deep cleaning done by the time Easter arrives, might as well pace myself. Speaking of Easter I better start working on the menu plan, I’m definitely hosting this year. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Happy Tuesday! It is going to be nice and sunny today...it is good to see the sun and warmer temps. Hard to believe tomorrow is the last day of February. No real plans for tonight catching up on laundry and we are having tacos for dinner.
