Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

We've been hosting an interview "party" for all of the candidates for our general manager's position for the last two days. I'm glad that part is over, but now I guess we'll find out who was chosen. It's a bit unnerving.

My SIL's condition hasn't changed, as far as I know this morning.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

The indomitable Carl? Well, as always, he will be at his post at the Shispering Pines' front door, greeting all guests with that ever-dependable first complimentary fired twinkie and glass of sweet southern iced tea.
This being the first open house evening of March is bound to mean something special in the entertainment department. Something about the close pending approach of spring, I'll bet.
Carl really does work hard and tirelessly every week to bring us a unique experience at our inn of choice. Be sure and give him a sincere word of thanks when you see him. I know he would appreciate it. (And perhaps you might even get a second fired twinkie!)

Anyway, I hope to see as many of you there as possible, and in the meantime.......have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
When I read this, my first thought was: Oh, no, camels on trampolines! Springing in the air! Time will tell!

Good snowy Pines Day morning MMC!!! It was snowing SO pretty this morning!! It has stopped now & left us with a windy/chilly/cloudy/dreary day....but at least there is a little white on the ground!!! :D (Maybe we'll get some more snow yet... xx)
Not much going on today - just work. I'll stop at moms after work & then I might just put on my pj's & snuggle in all night!!! (Ya right - sure does sound good though) :)
Hey - my day just got brighter...The Golden Girls is a Christmas episode at the moment. YAY!!
Have a great day everyone!!

Merry Tuesday!

Long day today ~ good to be home and relaxing! There might be more snow on the way. My town is right on the border of the less than an inch to three inches so hard to say how much will fall. It was pretty being out and about in the snow this morning, but most of it melted by the time I got home.

Be safe and merry!
Merry Pines Day M! Stay safe in the snow!

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Pines Day!
We have snow heading our way, we’re expecting about six inches. Not too much going on here. It’s a good day to stay in and work on chores. I’ve been purging & decluttering one room at a time. I’ve made a lot of progress so far and have gotten a head start on my Spring cleaning. Can’t believe we’re already a week in to March, Easter will be here before we know it. I noticed my butcher started taking Easter orders. Anyway, that’s about it for me. Oh and dinner will be gnocchi bolognese. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx
I had to look up what gnocchi Bolognese was. LOL!! Sounds good. Enjoy!!
And enjoy the snow!!! Have a great day HMG!

Good Morning, Fellow Travelers!
And what a joy it is to travel with such fine and like-minded folks such as you guys.
People who truly understand the Christmas Season and its value as an inspiration year-round, not just during the holidays.

It's also a joy to present the daily count and its daily declining balance.
So, here we go:
Days to the Season: 251
Days to Christmas Day: 293

Likewise, it always gives me pleasure to present the identity of our next Milestone and marvel at its rapid approach!
In this case, the marker in question is the 1/3 point to Christmas Season 2018 and it will be arriving right on schedule, which just happens to be March 15, only EIGHT days from today and ONE WEEK from tomorrow.
(Well, if this has spread a little happiness your way, I'm grateful and pleased!)

Yesterday? Not much of a day.
It was chilly and rainy most all day long.
Today should be drier and a bit warmer, topping out in the mid 50's.
Our current reading is 43 degrees here in central NC and it's still rather overcast.

See you (and Carl) tonight!!!

Morning MMC. I got home a little earlier yesterday due to no heat. We did go in and put in 5 hours but couldn't take it any longer. Today I'm home due to snow. We're expecting close to 12 inches today. I'm hoping this is the last real winter storm. I actually haven't missed work due to snow all winter so this was my 1 personal snow day that I am taking. Kind of is making this week really short but luckily I think they are getting a generator at work because they are taking forever to fix the heat. Have a great snowy day if you're around the northeast!
Hope you are enjoying your day at home with Rollins!! It's been YEARS since I've had a snow day. We're overdue!! ;) Have a great day Edge!

** TRAVEL ALERT **

The Crowns are off to attend a cousin's wedding in Alabama over this weekend, so a countdown volunteer will be needed for Friday through Sunday mornings.
Anyone feel up to taking the helm?
Have a safe trip & a fun time at the wedding!

Happy Pines Day!
The snow is starting to fall again now...we are supposed to get 6-10 inches. Still very busy with work but that is ok...after this week it should be not as hectic.
Hope you all have a great day!
Hope you can stay inside, warm & cozy & watch it snow!!! Have a great day SFM!

Lol, I took off today in preparation for the blizzard/ nor’easter, and so far, it’s like hardly nothing outside. I’ve been watching the weather channel for the past two days, and the way they were talking this storm up, I was expecting that we were going to get a good snow storm.

Gosh, I sure hope I did not take off for nothing.

On a good note, we had put an offer in for a home, that was just cute, I equated it to a little gingerbread house, and we got the home. YEA!!!!!. So exciting!!!

We will soon be residents of East Haddam, Ct. in a couple of months.

I don't think you're out of the woods yet, snow-wise. We're expecting the worst between about 3 p.m. and midnight here, so you're probably a couple hours ahead of us. You should be seeing the snow any minute now, if you're getting it. We're still expecting possible rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour. Eeek.

Great to hear that you found a home you wanted! Looking forward to sending a Christmas card to you there!
