They’re lifting parking bans in the morning, and things are supposed to be back to normal...I don’t know if I would be able to justify working from home. I’d really prefer to.
Totally agree with you! I said the very same thing this morning. I’d take another day at home in my pj,s, for sure! That alarm clock this morning was not my friend.

I briefly met the lady who falls butt-down on the pie and exits shaking her leg: Anita Garvin.

What you saw was an edited, condensed version of the pie fight, which was all that survived ... until recently, when the complete second reel was found. (The first reel concerns a prize fight involving the boys; in the crowd is Lou Costello as an extra. Guess who has a copy of the complete two-reeler? :D )
That is pretty wild. Oh I would pay to see the two reeler!!!!

Say.... I gotta brand new box of popcorn!!!!! +n

Awwww man!!! Not a good sign! I can hear the downstairs neighbors two year old, screaming his head off and It’s almost 9:30 pm. This past weekend, we heard him up laughing and running around at 1:30 in the morning. There’s a single (wild) mom down there with a 2 and a 4 year old.

We are so troubled by all we hear that goes on down there with all the yelling and screaming and fighting. We’ve told the landlord a few times, but he does nothing. We are starting to think that she leaves the apartment and leaves them both at home st times, alone and by themselves. It’s sad!

Woke up and decided to check the stats. Our final storm total, pending any light overnight snow, is 23 inches. But public transportation is running a regular schedule in the morning, and they say the roads will be okay in most places. I’d rather work from home one more day, just the same.

Merry, that is so cool! I would love it if we got a 2-3 footer here.
Snow Day, Snow Day, Snow Day!!!

So soon! That's great!

I know, it’s all happening so quickly now. We gotta a couple more inspections left, then the appraisal process and then it will be getting closer to settlement.

I got a guy coming over Saturday, to give us a quote to move us.
We met with our landlord the other night, gave him notice and went over the things to do for move out.

We are saving boxes and wrap now.

It’s exciting!!

Looking a little lonely there, buddy.
But let's face it. You're just not the big guy!

(Every year I go. Every year I see the Easter Bunny at the mall.
And every year, it's just not the same!)

Awwww, that’s kind a sad. Maybe if the Mall hired the Easter Beagle instead, things would pick up a bit!!!!!

Our first apartment, a family with two noisy toddlers lived right above us, and we worked nights. They were left in the care of an elderly lady who spoke no English; the parents would be at their dry-cleaning business. It was pretty awful. We would knock on the ceiling with a broom handle. (One morning it broke through the ceiling! ) After several months they were finally evicted for various reasons. That was a great day.

Good Monday morning! Changing the clock this weekend did a number on David and me. Last night we fell asleep around 7:45pm and we slept until 5:45am. But I much prefer having daylight at the end of the work day, I just wish we didn't have to change the clock back. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift, so time to make some supper and start getting ready for work. Have a great day everyone!

I think that time change thing, still has me screwed up! 5:30 came around this morning, and when they alarm went off, my body was like, “Dude, go back to sleep!” Lol....

Lol... the crazy mom downstairs, she does that to us, (beats on the ceiling) when the kitties start chasing each other around. It’s all hardwood floors and noise travel right thru them. So we went out and bought 10 rugs for the floors, to help muffle the noise of them playing. Some of the rugs are 10x 8 and larger. But, do we go around stomping on the floor when her kids are going bonkers all day and half the night.. NO! Or when she’s screaming at the kids, a man or whom ever, do we say anything; nope.

We just say a prayer for them and hope for the best!

Good Friday very early morning! I woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm sure I'll doze off at some point. And as I'm working the afternoon/evening shift, I can try to sleep some more in the morning. I was in Montréal for a loss prevention meeting all day yesterday and it took me 1h30 minutes to get home (traffic) when it usually takes 35 minutes to drive that distance. And now cold temperatures are moving back in. I'm ready for Winter to be over already and for the weekend to arrive. Hope you all enjoy a great day coming up!

Morning MMC. TGIF! Middle Day of March already. Looks like we have a nice weekend ahead just chilly but sunny. I am hopeful the storm next week isn't a big deal which right now it doesn't sound like it will be. Just going to celebrate Rollins 2nd birthday on Saturday with some cake and toys. Funny it's my sister's birthday next week but she said she feels it's being overshadowed by Rollins. Hope you have a great TGIF!

Good Morning, Post-Milestoners!
But like Christmas, our Milestones are either here or on the way.

The FIFTH one of 2018 is on its way right now.
But we will defer discussion of that until today's numbers have been presented.

Here they are:
Days to the Season: 242
Days to Christmas Day: 284

Now. About marker number 5.
It may be hard to accept, but as of March 26, just TEN days from today's date, we will be a full 1/4 of the way back to Christmas Day.
Let that sink in a bit. A QUARTER of the way. SINGLE DIGITS from tomorrow!
(How can the year possibly be moving by so fast, Folks?)

We took a warm turn weather-wise yesterday, and climbed into the 60's.
It was sunny too, but rather windy. In fact, owing to the wind and extremely low humidity, there were fire warnings out.
Today should be nice too, back into the 60's, with lower wind velocities.
We have begun this Weekend Eve at 45 degrees here in the state capital.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And may your Weekend commence beautifully this afternoon!

Was out there again yesterday. Not one single child there. Perhaps things will pick up some as we get closer to Easter.
