Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Jim's wife had a great weekend! The doctors had been regularly reducing her sedation and trying to get her off the ventilator by turning it off so her body could try to breath, but it hasn't worked...until the wee hours of Sunday morning. Now the ventilator has been removed from her room, she's somewhat conscious, and there's talk of moving her from ICU to a regular room. Awesome! Thanks to you, Lord!

I didn't really get anything done, other than some cleaning around the house with Nancy.

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day!

I'm glad to hear your hubby is feeling better! No fun to be sick! Easter sure is sneaking up on us. I signed up to bring deviled eggs & 7 layer salad. I always do the colored deviled eggs. So fun!

Merry Monday!

Stayed home today as the tree trimming crew is here and I didn't want to leave Palmer home alone. Poor cat is terrified.

Working on some stuff for the store and organizing as I go along.

Morning MMC. Just trying to shake off the tireds this mornings. Looks like we will have a decent day out but not as sunny as it was Monday. Sitting in my car Monday at lunch and having that sun through my windshield felt really good this time of year and it wasn't that warm temperature-wise but that just shows you how we are in spring now with the power of the sun. I hope you all enjoy your 2nd day of the week!

Good rainy morning MMC!! We have 48º & rain, rain, rain!! Woke up this morning at 4:40 (thanks to my hubby's phone ringing!!! He got called into work early...again!!!!) with a headache & then a nose bleed! I usually have this happen twice a year - spring & fall when the weather is changing. So hopefully it's a sign of good things to come!
Not much going on today besides work. I'm ready for a nap. LOL!

I use my own recipe, but I always make them on Friday or Saturday to be eaten for Easter Sunday supper! Mine aren't as pretty, but they taste good!

I am right there with you in trying to shake off the sleepies. The way I feel I'm going to be trying all day. And the weather sure doesn't help. Might be a good day for a lunch time nap!!

Good morning!
It’s going to be cloudy today with highs near 45, we’re currently at 31 degrees. I need to do some food shopping when Rocky takes a nap. I’m just having my coffee and playing with him right now. I have a ton of toys for him but this little stinker still prefers to chew on my fingers and toes! I’ll be working on some chores around the house this afternoon. Dinner will be tacos. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

I hope your daughter will make the eggs. They are fun! I need to get some more eggs!! I forgot about the eggs I need for 7 layer salad too!! EEK!
