Merry Saturday MMC ~
My husband went to the doctor last night and found out he has the flu. Eek! I’m praying no one else gets it, I don’t want any sickness in this house next week. I’m supposed to host Easter, I would hate to have to cancel. Anyway, typical day here of errands and chores for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Snow, snow, snow!!

Well the heavy band shifted south but we are still looking at 3 to 5 inches. I’ll take it. I hope everyone has a great day!!

We ended up with a little over 9 inches. Almost doubling what we had all winter long.

I may have watched a Christmas movie or two. Lol!!

Good morning, gang. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Things are going well here. Had a little scare last night, but we are fine. Bambina was sitting on the counter while I was cooking. I turn to stir some food and she falls off, backwards, and lands flush on her back and head. SCARED THE BEJEZUS out of me! We went to an urgent care to have her checked and they said if it was a couch or bed, they wouldn't sweat it....but since it was a counter top, she needed a CATSCAN. They looked her over, came in, and said all clear...

WHEW.

Needless to say, I got lectured on the way home by Doc for letting her sit on the countertop and play (rightfully so). I just sit there and nodded my head and said I know, I know.

Y'all, talk about grateful...whew. Good news is that I have some ribs cooked and ready to eat...so I don't have to cook supper tonight. Bad news is I am sure that I could have gone out to eat 20 times for what we paid for the cat scan. That's ok, I would pay as much money as I could for peace of mind and knowing our little girls is ok.

Oh gosh. I'm so glad she was ok. If I had a dime for every time I sat on my parents counter.... (that's just where you sit, right?? ) What an ordeal to go through. I'm glad for a happy ending!!

Stayed home today as the tree trimming crew is here and I didn't want to leave Palmer home alone. Poor cat is terrified.

Working on some stuff for the store and organizing as I go along.

When my brother was in the hospital one of the doctors told him that there is only a 50/50 chance of the shot working in a good year. This past season has been nuts!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Jim's wife had a great weekend! The doctors had been regularly reducing her sedation and trying to get her off the ventilator by turning it off so her body could try to breath, but it hasn't worked...until the wee hours of Sunday morning. Now the ventilator has been removed from her room, she's somewhat conscious, and there's talk of moving her from ICU to a regular room. Awesome! Thanks to you, Lord!

I didn't really get anything done, other than some cleaning around the house with Nancy.

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day!

Morning MMC. The last week of March is here. Easter is Sunday and so is April. This month has seemed to fly by. Luckily we have 1 week left in it. Luckily spring weather is coming slowly but surely here. And we have baseball season starting this week too. Have a great last Monday of March!

Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be mostly sunny with highs near 45, we’re currently at 30 degrees. Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores for me. My husband is feeling a bit better after spending the weekend resting in bed, he’ll be heading back to work today. I plan on making a big pot of chicken soup for dinner. I also need to look over my Easter menu again and make sure I’m not forgetting anything. Can’t believe we’re less than a week away. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

I'm glad to hear your hubby is feeling better! No fun to be sick! Easter sure is sneaking up on us. I signed up to bring deviled eggs & 7 layer salad. I always do the colored deviled eggs. So fun!

Yep. Seems so soon ago we were at another Milestone Day, which is true. We were!
Our current one is the ONE QUARTER point to Christmas Day. Tomorrow, we enter the SECOND quarter of our Day count, with the next stop being half time!
(Moving right along, we are.)

Days to the Season: 232
Days to Christmas Day: 274

The next pair of markers, the dual, binary ones I have spoken of the last couple of days, will be presented tomorrow. (Better get ready for a shock!)

Well, still the quite chilly and damp weather. The kind of weather that sickens the healthy and makes the already sick worse. Best to stay indoors if you can.
But that should be a memory after tomorrow as we are predicted to climb into the 70's.
Whew!
Our current temp is a still-cold 35 degrees. here.

I saw where Indy got a measurable amount???

Yeah, they should have stuck with the original forecast. We went from 6 to 10 inches. To 3 to 5 inches. To 1 to 2 inches. Back to 3 to 5 inches and ended up with 10.2 officially.

Soooo jealous!!! It was so cold here - where was our snow???
