Thank you ~ I'm hoping the same thing, but the forecast is still very bleak: 2 + inches of rain, turning to sleet and ice with ice accumulations of up to 1/2 inch, and then 2 - 4 inches of snow with sustained winds of 20 mph and gusts that could be in the 70s. :(

We're getting a wintry mix followed by eight inches of snow by the time the storm leaves town, Saturday night. This is baseball season?!?

I hope all of the sleet & ice miss you. Never need that! A little snow - well, it's time for that to be done too, but if it's going to be cold...let it snow! :p We have a chance of some wet snow on Monday but it doesn't sound like much. Rain & Thunderstorms starting late tonight & going all weekend.
Stay safe and warm up there!!!!
Have a Merry weekend yourself! :) (despite the weather)

Thank you, Holiday. It will be perfect weather for reading a Christmas book or two! :)

Too much! I sure hope that's winter's last hurrah where you live.

Me, too! :)

Be safe, Yuletide!
Let's see, the Tigers lost 9 - 3. Yep, it's baseball season. :)

Snowflakemom- Hope you and your family have a great time in Florida!!

Brad- Hope your business trip goes well and that you enjoy the Rockies!!!

Meceka- Stay safe in the storm!!

Thank you, made! :)

Happy Friday!

Looks like rain is trying to move in, it's sprinkling a little bit, and there are some pretty dark clouds out there. Temperature wise, it's beautiful. I went for a little walk at lunchtime, and I didn't want to come back to the office. I got the window open to let some fresh air come in while I'm eating my good-boy salad for lunch!

We are now down to less than 2 weeks before closing on our new home. Things are still moving in a positive direction and the excitement is really building. We've got a moving company now scheduled, to move us around the end of June and then after closing, it will be packing, getting rid of things, doing the utilities stopping and starting, prepping for moving in for the next 2 months; so exciting!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy Friday (the 13th)!

Finally, a spring-like day here! But over the weekend it's supposed to get cloudy and wet, and the temps are to fall again. Rain, sometimes heavy, is predicted for Marathon Monday. Rats.
I hope that your weather forecast changes by then. Would they consider cancelling or shortening the marathon if snow/sleet/ice were to occur? I know they cancelled the Montréal marathon last September because of extreme heat and they only held the half-marathon very early in the day. I can't imagine anyone running a marathon in slippery course conditions.

Temps are to be in the high 50s (F) Monday, so they won’t have to deal with any form of ice. They may have to deal with some heavy rain, though. I’ll be snug and dry at home!

Morning MMC. It's a warm morning here! Got warm yesterday and stayed overnight. But the cold front is on it's way so the warmth will fade by tonight already. That's ok it's a little too early to be this warm anyway. Just going to go hiking with my friend and some errands to start my 3 day weekend. Enjoy your Saturday in Mid-April!

Merry Saturday MMC ~
Not too much going on here, I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’ll be heading out later this morning, Rocky starts his dog training classes today. Can’t wait to see how that goes :) I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good Morning, Folks.
Another day, another weekend and another new count.

Here it is:
Days to the Season: 213
Days to Christmas Day: 255

And another step closer to our next matching pair of Milestones.
First, there is the ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day, coming our way in just 12 days.
Then, the very next day, we arrive at the 200-Day Season Window.
TWO Milestone markers, both almost down to SINGLE DIGITS.
Wow.
No.
DOUBLE-WOW!

Really pleasant here yesterday, with highs about 80 coupled with still low humidity.
We had lots of sun and no rain. The only drawback? The pollen fall, but even it seems to have diminished a bit. All in all, a pretty nice mid April day!
Today should be its twin, and we have commenced it at 66 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
And I hope you have a great weekend.

Good luck to Rocky at class!

Merry Saturday..I am finishing up some laundry today and packing for Monday. It is beautiful outside now but looks like it will be short lived as colder weather is moving in...hope you all have a great day!

Thanks Crown! Enjoy this Mid-April Weekend!

Merry Saturday!

The forecast has improved somewhat. At the moment it is raining with some drops freezing on contact. The bulk of the ice is supposed to happen tomorrow morning which is a big change from the forecast last night.

It is going to be a relaxing, storm-watching weekend for me. Started reading the latest Sue Grafton, "Y is for Yesterday", earlier today. Not very far into the book and it is already quite interesting.

Be safe and merry!

It's a Great day; It's Saturday!!!

Here there friends, the sun is out shining away but the wind is really strong, so those warms rays of sunlight are getting overwritten by that cold wind! Its supposed to start raining for like the next 3 days, and I wanted to get outside today really bad. But, I woke up with another one of those headaches and my joints are all hurting too; (shoulders, hips and neck), this morning, and the thing just wont go away. I wonder if its a change in the barometric pressure or something that's causing it. Anyway, I've been inside so far today, just doing a few little chores and some lose odds and ends. I've taken ibuprofen and I am drinking water, in hopes that it stops. Dawg gone it, seems like the older I get, the more things start to hurt....

Nothing too much planned today, but I would like to get out later to just get out of the house.

Hello everyone.
As others have mentioned the crazy weather continues. It was 76 degrees yesterday, lots of rain today, and snow showers and 30s coming on Monday. Then back to 70 by the end of next weekend.
The constant change in temperatures and all of the moisture is making my sinuses go crazy!

Hope you both feel better and that this crazy weather settles down and Spring finally takes hold.

Morning MMC. That beautiful Saturday we had is just a memory now because it's cloudy, chilly and we expect some rain today. We might even get some sleet mixing in. Talk about a change. Hope you all have a great Mid-April Sunday. We are heading to my Uncle's this evening and other than that just resting is the word of the day!

Good Sunday morning! It's Winter again as the thermometre currently reads -14°C/7°F with the windchill factor. As temperatures will rise, we'll likely get freezing rain later today/tonight. It feels like Spring will never come. I got up early and already have two loads of laundry and a few other chores done. Loki is sitting on my lap, waiting for his morning walk. He snubbed a piece of banana that I gave him, so I know his tummy is not feeling well, cause he never says no to a banana. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day.
