Good Post-Dual Milestone Morning, my Friends.
Yes, after an exhaustingly exciting two days in a row of Milestone markers, it's time to relax a bit and catch our breath.
But wait. What's this? Wow! (We will get to it in just a moment.)
First things first:
Days to the Season: 199
Days to Christmas Day: 241
And do my eyes deceive me, or is that a "1" in front of our Season count?
Yep, Folks. We are now down into the ONES. The year is just racing away out of control! Scary.
(Scary, but fun!)
We are in a fantastic weather rut here, with highs in the 70's, low humidity, sunny skies, no rain and the pine pollen almost gone.
It is the best of time, and the.......best of times!
Today should be more of the same, with perhaps just a tad cooler readings for Sunday.
Right now, we observe 60 degrees on our back yard temperature recorder.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
And a simply Way-Out Weekend of the best kind!

Good Saturday midday! They were forecasting rain all day but so far nothing, and the sun is even coming out right now. I slept a bit on the couch around 9pm last night but woke up at 10pm to go get David at a friend's (never drink and drive), and then I wasn't able to fall back asleep until 3am. I slept on and off pretty much all morning but now I'm antsy to get the day going. Chores and preparing the grocery list for the week, not much else planned. I do want to go out to eat though, I need to get out of the apartment. Hope everyone enjoys a great day!

It’s been forever since I dropped by because I’ve been so busy. I think of y’all all the time! I am watching Hallmark tonight and they’re now saying they’re “counting down the days” until Countdown to Christmas 2018! Sounds like they follow @Crown 84 and know we’ve got a 1 sighting!

Tomorrow is NATIONAL PET PARENTS DAY – Celebrated on the Last Sunday in April !!

Morning MMC. We have had some showers overnight. Sunday and Monday should be cool days with some clouds more than sun. Then we head into the 70s and even some 80s for early summer heat in early May. Just going to do some food shopping and maybe put on a Christmas show. Enjoy your Sunday!
Good Sunday morning! Well the rain showers that never came yesterday started overnight and will likely continue on and off all day. I had a scratchy throat yesterday which has now turned into a head cold. No rest though, we have to go grocery shopping and shop for some clothes as well. Hopefully we'll be able to get everything done before noon so we can relax some. Have a great day everyone!

Here in Ohio it is the last Sunday in April and a whopping 34 degrees outside. It is suppose to get up to the low 60s, but still below our normal. This has been one of the coolest, if not the coolest, Aprils on record for the area.
Last night was my oldest's senior prom. He has three weeks of school left. CRAZY!
Today is a "work" day for me. I need to write a 10-12 page paper for my current class. That will be the bulk of my day. But it is the last assignment for the class. I get the next week off from my classes. (I still have to go and teach school though) Then I start my thesis on May 7th! I am excited to get that started and over with. lol
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning, my Christmas friends...
I have to admit that a 1-- in the season marker makes my heart happy. As we are preparing for school to get out....it kinda makes me want to be staring because that is when we will be under 100 days until the season...
I love the season...I love everything about it....seeing that 199 number lets me know that it is getting close to being "home" for us!

Good Morning ... I think Mother nature is off her meds again. Yesterday was a beautiful day, sunny and warm, shorts weather. Today is damp, over cast and chilly ... hoodie wearing weather. Good thing we got the yard work done yesterday
Good morning MMC...just relaxing today and enjoying a cup of coffee. I need to run to the grocery store later and that’s about it. Hope you all have a great day!
Morning folks.
Yesterday, we took our kitties to the vets. It is a brand new vet for them, near where we are moving to. It's a heart breaking process; of taking them to the vets. Every time I break out their carriers, Shiloh goes running; (I always wonder, that when she see's that carrier, does she think we are going to take her back to the place from where we adopted her from?).
That's the first part of it, after I get the carrier in, then I got to go find her, get her out gently out from underneath a piece of furniture. Then once I get her in the carrier, she starts to meow (so sadly, almost like she's crying). They did good for the ride getting there and when they were there too. They got a full examination, shots, nails clipped and Shiloh had blood drawn because she's been throwing up her food once in awhile after she eats. We absolutely, just loved the new veterinarian, it's a husband and wife team and the atmosphere of the place reminded us of an old time doctors office kind of feel.
When we got them both back home and walked in the door with them, they both instantly recognized where they were at and immediately, they perked up and you could see their excitement; home! Yes, it's heartbreaking, but a very necessary process.

Yes, I agree, what is going on with her? It was so nice out yesterday, that after we got back from the vets, we went down to the beach. I had my shoes and socks off, pants legs rolled up and I was walking in the water. Oh yea, the sound was cold, my feet and toes got red from the cold water, but it was like yup, spring is here! Actually, truth is, I was showing off for my lady, by going in the cold water, and collecting seashells for her; which made her happy and smile!
Oh yes!!! Coffee is totally the first order of the day, then I think the second order of the day, will be that I might get into that ring cake out in the kitchen, that is calling to me!!!
The mrs is going to go see a play with her mom today, so I'm going just hang out here, do laundry (mine, I'm not allowed any longer to do hers anymore; I did a whoops and felt terrible about it too!) and just do some cleaning while she's gone.
I was realizing last night, that this week will be the first of May, and think about it, but not counting this week, we will only be like 10 weeks out from the start of QVC Christmas in July, Hallmark Christmas in July and more. Pretty cool huh!
