Good Sunday morning! Well the rain showers that never came yesterday started overnight and will likely continue on and off all day. I had a scratchy throat yesterday which has now turned into a head cold. No rest though, we have to go grocery shopping and shop for some clothes as well. Hopefully we'll be able to get everything done before noon so we can relax some. Have a great day everyone!

Halfway to the start of the season - crazy!

I've been so busy lately. 5 funerals, family drama, work and chores - miss everyone and think of you every day when some festive thought, song or vision crosses my mind.

Happy Last Day of April MMC! 1/3 of the way through the year? Unbelievable. Hope you all had a good weekend and a great last day of April today. Looks like we have a chilly day with some showers before a major warm-up and we will see 70s and 80s the rest of the week with mostly sunny skies. Have a great Monday!
 
Merry Monday ~
It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 53 degrees. I’m heading out in a little bit to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. My mother is coming over to visit later this afternoon, I’m going to bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies for her :) That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well, have a great day!

And the major marker looming a scant 15 days ahead, just two weeks from tomorrow?
Well, my Friends, it's none other than the HALF WAY POINT TO THE SEASON!
That's correct. As of May 15, we will already be half way back to the greatest time of the year.
(So far, so soon, Guys!)

Well, the cooler weather arrived yesterday as predicted. Our high was 65 after a 78 degree reading for Saturday.
Today will see us back into the 70's again, with zero chance of rain.
This fine new week morning has begun at a chilly 45 degrees here in central NC.

Good morning MMC..back to another week and cannot believe May will be here tomorrow. Looks like we are going to get some nice weather this week. My daughter has a softball game tonight. Hope you all have a great day!
 
Good Monday late morning! Another rainy day here. My cold knocked me out all afternoon/evening yesterday. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today so at least I could recuperate a bit this morning. I wish I didn't have to go into work, but I have new hires to train tonight. It's going to be a strange day because my manager announced on the weekend that my colleague and I are being transferred to a new store. Not my choice but I have no voice in the matter. I just wish I had been there when it was announced to the employees. I'm very sensitive, I foresee lots of tears throughout this month before we start at the new store in June. Anyway, time to get ready. Have a great day everyone!
