...and our outdoor Christmas lights came down, yesterday. A sure sign that we're almost closer to the new season than the one gone by.

Good Monday afternoon, Christmas friends!
My weekend was crazy again. Friday afternoon, I took my new precious (that is, my new pressure washer) to a backyard in a nearby town where Jacob's band was supposed to be playing on Saturday night. He asked to borrow it to clean up for the event. When I got there, he wasn't there, and I wasn't about to leave my precious with some pale college boys, so I stayed and did the cleaning myself.
Then Saturday night, Jacob sang with the University Choir at the University, so we were out late.
Then we left home at 6:15 Sunday morning to take Elizabeth to a dance competition in Savannah. She did great, but we got home at midnight last night.
I'm beat, but it's a beautiful day! I hope y'all have a great one, too!

Happy May MMC! This is one of my favorite Non-Ber months of the year. I just can't believe it's MAY. Today we start the beautiful weather with temps in the 70s and sunshine. I hope we're finally finished with winter till after Thanksgiving. Hope your May gets off to a good start!

That torch shall light our way back to the Season.......with a little help from our Milestone Markers, of course!

And our next marker? (It's just 2 weeks ahead, you know.)
It's none other than the HALF way point to Christmas Season 2018.

We did indeed reach the 70's yesterday with no rain, just as the weather service predicted.
Today, our high is supposed to be 82, with 86 being the number for tomorrow.
(OK, Mother Nature. That's enough. No need to get carried away, now!)
This morning's opening reading is 51 degrees.
Well, be you hot, cold or somewhere in between, be sure and have a Terrific Tuesday Today, OK?
And what could be finer than keeping the Christmas torch lit year round.

Morning everyone, wow it's been so long since I've posted! (over a month) Don't know where the times gone. Speaking of time, is it really the first of May already? oh my. Not much to tell you all, I turned 20 last week and I've just finished my second year at University so now time to chill out before I try and get a job for the summer. Hope you are all well, happy May!

It’s going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 71 degrees. Typical day of errands and chores for me. My middle one is off so she going to keep me company. We’re going to grab lunch later while we’re out, just need to decide where we want to go. I also plan on getting Rocky outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. He’s doing better on his harness and leash but we still need to practice our walks. He pulls me in all directions because he wants to sniff everything. I need to teach him to keep going in the same direction so we can at least make it around the block!

Jacob has been spending a lot of time with a girl he really likes, and he finally got up the nerve to tell her how he felt last week...she said she didn't feel the same way.
He was so embarrassed, he told her he needed some time apart to get over it.
Last night she called him to see if he would meet with her. She told him she had missed him so much, and she realizes that she likes him, too! That boy is on Cloud Nine this morning! LOL
Ah, youth!
