Shiloh and Ariel gave their mommy, her first Mother’s Day card. She had tears in her eyes after reading it. I’m so happy that her fur babies did that for her.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Good Morning, Christmas Chasers.
And a Magnificently Merry Mothers Day to all the Many MMC Moms!

Day by day, week by week, month by month, the chase goes on.
Along the way, we encounter and collect Milestone markers.
This goes on in glorious perpetuity and today is no different.
So let's get to the numbers without delay, because something exciting is about to happen!

Days to the Season: 184
Days to Christmas Day: 226

<< OK, Crown. But what's the exciting something that's about to happen? >>
Well the fact is, as of the DAY AFTER TOMORROW, we will be HALF way to Christmas Season 2018.
<< That IS exciting, Crown. And hard to believe, too! >>
I agree with you there, little voice.

Hot, hot, hot. (But fortunately not humid, humid, humid. At least not yet. It's coming, though.)
We reached 92 degrees yesterday and will reach the mid 90's today and tomorrow before somewhat cooler temps return for Tuesday.
Our current reading, to start the second half of our weekend, is 76 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks Crown! Happy Mother's Day!

Hi everyone, thought I'd come say hi as I'm in a very festive mood today and where else better to share it than here. I've spent the evening watching a few festive films. I love getting a random burst of Christmas spirit however getting it at this time of year isn't so fun as it makes Christmas seem so far away which does make me feel a little sad. I don't like to wish the year away and I know tomorrow I'll be feeling better and not have such post Christmas blues (If you can even count it as that this late in the year lol!) After all, what makes Christmas so special is the fact it only comes once a year and for such a short amount of time. Thought I'd come share with you all as I'm sure you all have these moments too, That's what I love so dearly about this forum, where else could you talk about Christmas everyday!

I hope you've all had a wonderful day.

Good Morning, Thresholders.

Ah, yes. We are indeed on the threshold of something special that comes only once a year. The exciting details will immediately succeed the presentation of today's figures.

Days to the Season: 183
Days to Christmas Day: 225

Tomorrow, guys.
Yes, I said TOMORROW.
We will have completed the entire FIRST HALF of our march back to the Christmas Season.
It really does not seem possible, but yet it most certainly is.
But, don't just take my word for it. Check the chart. It's at post number one of this thread.

Well, the humidity has arrived to supplement the heat, and yesterday was not the most comfortable of Sundays, as we hit an afternoon high of 93.
More of the same predicted for today only hotter, with our high forecast to be 94. Tomorrow will see relief though, as we are not supposed to get past the mid 80's.
We observe 71.7 degrees currently on our back door digital thermometer.

Have a Marvelous Monday and a Wondrous Week ahead, Folk!

Merry Monday!
It’s going to be partly sunny today with a high of 67 degrees. It was a pretty busy weekend for me, I’m looking forward to getting back to my regular routine. Typical day of errands and chores. I’m going to stop at the butcher while I’m out to pick up burgers to grill for dinner tonight. We’ll just be catching up on some shows later this evening. I hope everyone is well and has a great week ahead!
xx

Merry Monday...back to the grind and today is my youngest daughter's birthday..she turns 12. I always say my kids love holidays...my oldest was born on Christmas and my youngest on Mother's Day!! It is pretty cloudy here now but it is supposed to warm up. My youngest daughter has a softball game tonight and I am bringing cupcakes for all the girls. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday?!?!

I hope all you mama's had a wonderful Mothers Day yesterday! It was a beautiful day here. We had pizza at Moms, then visited with my in-laws. Didn't get home til almost 10:00 last night but it was all good!

We had a nice weekend at the lake. Saturday was CHILLY but we still had fun! We were able to sit outside for awhile but then it just cooled off too much!! The Mexican food was delish - as always!

Today a new Amish lady is coming along to Moms house to see if this job is something she would be interested in. She is 60 years old, she's widowed & would stay Monday through Saturday & sometimes the whole weekend if it's not a church weekend. Keep your fingers crossed this will work out. That would be amazing!!!!!

Everyone, have a magnificent Monday!!!

What started off as a good day yesterday ended on a negative note. When I went for our change of tires, turns out I had accumulated 80$ on our fidelity card so it cost us almost nothing. But then at work, my boss told me that he is going through a difficult time and will likely go on sick leave for a possible burn out. I really feel for him, his confidence seems to have taken a hit as of late and he's taken my transfer to another store pretty hard. I am his right-hand person and I oversee pretty much everything at the store and I know he's expressed concern about having to do it all by himself. Hopefully he takes good care of himself and gets the help he needs to overcome this burn out. David asked me to promise him not to overwork myself through all of this and through the new store opening. He sees how demanding the job can be and he is concerned about me. I've seen worse things in my 20 years with the company, I will manage (I hope).

So this weekend will be all-out sun and I'm looking to recover from my busy week. But first, today we have to go grocery shopping, take care of David's medical card renewal, and we have some shopping to do for Mothers Day. We also have to clean the inside of our car and I have the usual laundry to do. Somewhere in there I'll find time to relax. Hope everyone has a great day!
(((HUGS))) I hope thing work out well for ALL of you!!! xx
Hope you found some time for relaxing over the weekend! :)

Also, Turner Classic Movies will air the following movies:

Hallmark channel will start “Christmas keepsake” starting 7/6 - 7/15
