Only seven months left to go until Christmas is upon us!
Morning MMC! Happy TGIF Holiday Weekend Style as we enter unofficially summer time. A warm day here today with temps in the mid 80s and sunshine but low humidity still. Just looking forward to the 3 day weekend as we head towards the long stretch from this holiday weekend back to the Bers.

Merry Friday!
It’s going to be sunny today with a high of 77 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky, he’s feeling much better today. He’s back to his crazy self. Not too much going on here, just a typical day of errands and chores. I’m also going to work on a menu plan for Memorial Day. I hope everyone is well. Wishing all of you a great day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

Good morning. I’m seriously looking forward to at least one thing for the next three days, that is not having to get up and go to work. I did a late one last night, didn’t get home till going on 11..
Of course, getting up this morning, is an adventure all in itself, I knew it would. I so much wanted to be as one, with the pillow this morning. I over slept, it (the bed) was feeling oh, so good!
Oh well, back to reality, I’ll finish my coffee and get ready to head into the office.

Good morning...TGIF and looking forward to a long weekend. Typical day of work for me and tonight my daughter has a softball game. We have a picnic to go to on Sunday but otherwise not too many plans. Hope you all have a great day!

And our travels have brought us once again to Weekend Eve, the threshhold of our 2-day end-of-the-week respite.
It has also brought us to a brand new set of Countdown numbers.
Here they are:
Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214
And naturally, a day closer to the Season and Christmas Day is also a day closer to our next Milestone marker.
The 200-day Christmas Day Window. It's now only 14 days away.
TWO WEEKS from today!
Then, a double-100's level count.
(We're getting there, Folks. Step by step and day by day.)
No rain yesterday and the temperature/humidity was manageable.
Starting to pick up a bit of a mosquito problem, however. Par for the course this time of the year.
Today shows a slight shot at rain, with temps in the mid 80's.
Currently? We are at 71 degrees here in central NC.

Thanks Crown! Happy Rudolph Day #5!
Good morning MMC! Merry Memorial Friday!! I'm sooooo looking forward to the holiday weekend!! My sister is insisting she stays with mom tonight, so I'll get to go to the lake tonight after all. I'll have to be back early tomorrow morning, but I'm being relieved at 3pm tomorrow afternoon & Sunday I'm going to be relieved early...I'll get more lake time than I expected! 
So thankful for the help!!
My aunts funeral was beautiful yesterday! Just a perfect day. For it being a "normal" funeral it was a huge celebration of life! So nice! She had her own personal fly over at the cemetery...LOL... services there were just getting started when a military cargo plane flew right over the top of her tent. The priest had to stop the ceremony b/c it was so loud. We figured it was probably her husband in heaven who arranged that!
Too cool! With it being Memorial weekend the cemetery was decked out with fresh/new flowers - beautiful. The meal afterwards was at a beautiful brewery in the park. The meal was German. We could sit outside in the park. It was just really nice! Great tribute to a wonderful lady! As my cousin said ~ a funeral like that kind of realigns you!
So what are everyone's plans for the weekend?

Today is my Friday from work. We're having a party for the plant to commemorate 10 years without a Lost Time Accident. That's a big accomplishment for a facility like ours, with such potential for accidents.
We're having BBQ catered, as well as gifts like t-shirts, coolers and umbrellas for the guys. We're supposed to close at noon, but I'm not sure if that extends to the admin staff, too.
The plant will be closed tomorrow, using our "floating" holiday, and we're closed Monday for Memorial Day, so a long weekend is here!

I understand about not wanting to get out of bed. My hubby got a call at 3:30am to go into work ~ scared the begeezus out of me. I was sleeping so good when his phone went off! Grrrr!
