So glad to hear Rocky did well!! Poor tiny little guy!! Hope he does well for you tonight!
Lucy will have to spend the night when she goes in & I'm really dreading that!

Thanks Holiday. Rocky’s hanging in there, I just got him to take a pain pill. I’m praying he feels a little bit better tomorrow. It’s so hard to see these babies in any kind of pain.

Good morning MMC!! Merry Pines Day!! And a beautiful one it is!! It's been a busy morning...but it seems like it should be closer to lunch time than it is!!

I was just ready to leave work yesterday - I was planning to stop at moms on my way home when I got a call saying mom fell! So I just drove that mile a little faster to help pick her up off the floor! She was fine, but that lady!! Hopefully she will remember now that she can't stand up on her own (until she forgets again!) & the new Amish girl learned she needs to use the chair alarm...even though Mom doesn't like it! I think her sisters death has her a little "off" this week!

Lucille has a groomer appointment today at lunch. Other than that & work I don't have many plans. I've got some laundry to hang on the line at lunch & hoping to plant flowers after work!

Well mom’s doctors office just called and they are sending her to a cardiologist. The nurse wouldn’t really say anything so I’m guessing that’s probably not a good sign.

Has anyone ever heard of the Midwest Vintage Holiday Show? I just found out it will be in Columbus, OH this Sunday. It says all holiday decorations will be there with an emphasis on Christmas. I am thinking about going but wondered if anyone ever had before and if it was worth it?? I'm not sure but I think it may be in different locations each year because I don't remember hearing about it before but I could be wrong!

It’s going to be sunny and warm today, highs near 80 degrees! Poor little Rocky is scheduled to be neutered this morning. I’ll just be working on some chores around the house while I wait to hear back from the veterinarian. I just want to get this over with and bring him back home. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

I’m glad Rocky is home from his surgery already. I had to leave Loki overnight and it had made me so anxious. And then came the cone. Hope Rocky recovers quickly and isn’t in too much pain.

Morning MMC! Can't believe we're getting so close to Memorial Day Weekend now. Got to admit that I'm getting excited about it. And today is a big day as it's 100 days till the Bers, Halfway to Thanksgiving and of course 7 months till Christmas Eve! Triple threat. Hope everyone has a great Thursday aka Friday Eve!

I’m glad Rocky is home from his surgery already. I had to leave Loki overnight and it had made me so anxious. And then came the cone. Hope Rocky recovers quickly and isn’t in too much pain.

Thank you Martine. My doctor used internal sutures so thankfully there is no need for a cone!

We’re going to have sunshine with temperatures in the upper 70’s. Not too much going on here. I’ll just be working on some chores around the house. I don’t plan on going anywhere so I can keep a close eye on Rocky while he recovers from his surgery. He already perked up a bit and I got him to eat this morning. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Days to Christmas Day: 215

And what's this?
Two weeks from tomorrow, we will be where? At the 200-day Christmas Day Window, you say??
Not possible.
But yet.......it is. Just check the chart.

The rain held off yesterday, but we still have lots of residual dampness from
all the recent precipitation. Today, the weather service says only a 20 percent chance of the wet stuff.
We commence this day before Weekend Eve at 70 degrees here in our little part of the great MMC Nation.

Happy Friday Eve!! Typical day of work today and I am taking my oldest daughter and a couple of her friends over to see another friend, she had ACL on surgery on Monday so they are bringing her a basket of goodies. Not sure what we are doing for dinner?? My husband is working late so it may be take out tonight, we'll see..hope you all have a great day...getting even closer to the long weekend!
