Merry Pines Day MMC ~
It’s going to be cloudy today with a chance of showers, temperatures will be in the upper 60’s. My husbands birthday is today. We’ll be celebrating later tonight. I’m going to make lasagna for dinner and bake a cheesecake for dessert!

Hello all!

The wife and I had a great time at the Indy PopCon. We met and took a picture with Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher, Star Trek TNG) and Levar Burton (Geordi La Forge Star Trek TNG and Reading Rainbow) If you are on facebook you can find our cosplay stuff. Search for Lola and the Professor and you can see our pictures from the weekend and previous weekends.

The last couple of days have just been busy around the house. Off and on rain and storms until today. It is nice out today, a little cooler and lots of sun.

Not much on the schedule today. I need to get some writing done. I need to have 2-3 chapters of my thesis done for Sunday night. I have it organized, I just need to sit down and do some writing.

My wife made the uniforms. She makes most parts of all of our costumes. She was very flattered several times as people asked where we bought them and told her how good they looked.

When we got out picture, Wil Wheaton noticed that my wife was dressed as Dr. Crusher and he said, "You're my mom!"

We went to a panel with the too of them that was really neat.
We are going to another ComicCon, called Supercon in Louisville, KY the end of November. There are several Star Trek actors who are going to be there. Levar Burton will be there along with Brent Spiner (Data), John De Lancie (Q), Walter Koenig (Chekoz), William Shatner (Kirk).

** TRAVEL ALERT **

Well, another rental season is nearly upon us and we will be traveling to the coast Saturday morning to finalize things for our first renters, who will be arriving Sunday afternoon.
As such.......well, you know.
But just for one day -- Sunday morning.
Anyone feel like taking the reigns for a day?

It’s beautiful here - I took advantage of the sun and laid out for a little while, now I’m going to get a run in and this evening we’re taking the kids to the drive-in.

He is very ill and we are trying to work on getting the whole family together, which is not an easy thing to do. But I am hopeful we can pull it off! I hope everyone has a great evening!

Happy Friday MMC! That was the weirdest longest 3 day work week in my life. But here we are on Friday. We went with my brother to visit a few cousins last night. Today a family friend will be coming to visit and we may go out to eat. Have a great Friday!
