Really closing in on an amazing Milestone.
I mean REALLY closing in!

We will talk about that after digesting today's figures.

Days to the Season: 125
Days to Christmas Day: 167

My Friends, we are now UNDER HALF A WEEK away from entering the last third of our Season count.
Can you believe that, now?
The LAST third!
(Wonder of wonders.)

Speaking of wonders, our weather yesterday was pretty wonderful, with moderate temperatures and reduced humidity.
(I was again able to enjoy my front porch, at least until the mosquitoes decided to share it with me, uninvited.)
Today though will see us return to the mid 90's for highs.
Right now, we are at 71 degrees here in our sector of the great MMC Nation.

Can you believe we are already to the second 'Pines open house of July?
And weren't last week's fireworks spectacular! (Carl always puts on a good show.)
[Tip-of-the-week: Look for great deals on red, white and blue-frosted fired twinkies left over from Independence day.]

Morning MMC! Happy 7-11. Today is my mom's birthday so we're taking her out for dinner. I just have to find a way to leave work on time for once. Other than that, just a warm summer day here. Have a good 7-11 and if you get a free slurpee enjoy it.

Not much going on here today but work. I already have HMM on TV! It's supposed to be a little cooler today w/ a high of 81º!
Lucy goes to the groomer on my lunch & her groomer has a 6yo male Wheaten that is going into rescue, I get to meet! She said I'm going to love him. Uh oh!!!

It’s going to be partly cloudy with chance of a shower and a high of 83 degrees. Not too much going on here today, typical morning of errands and chores. My middle one is off from work so we’re going to grab Chipotle for lunch and hang out by the pool later this afternoon.

We got home yesterday in time for me to mow the lawn. I was feeling pretty good about myself until I found that our septic system isn't working now. I called the plumber, and I hope he'll make it over today. Yuck.
