Thanks, for the most part it was but I think the next time we do the waterpark there it will be during the week and not the weekend. Way to many rude kids there. Even my kids mentioned how rude they were.

Hello all!

I have not been on in a few days, just been busy. Trying to get Nathan ready for the Army, he leaves next week.
Summer is about to feel like it is over here as Little League football starts next week. Actually tomorrow, but that is only equipment handout. Practice begins next Monday.

Still working on my thesis. My advisor returned my last chapter to me and said it was good to go other than a couple of small typos I need to correct. That whole project will be over in a little more than a month. While I am enjoying all of the writing and research, it will be nice to have it all finished.

The weather is supposed to be fairly decent for the next several days, they are calling for lower 80s which is a nice change from the lower 90s.

Morning MMC! Happy Monday! It's the middle day of the month already. I have a 5 day week and then next week only 3 days before a 4-day little vacation. Definitely looking forward to that. First things first, time for Monday. Have a great day!

I have been enjoying Christmas in July so far. I watched the 1984 Christmas Carol last night. I am looking forward to re-listening to the tracking Santa on Kringle Radio too.

I was just thinking about this the other day... here we are with Christmas in July, enjoying Christmas music and movies. Then we get to August and I largely go back to "regular" music and such. Then, right after Labor Day I move into Halloween mode. I have a pretty good selection of Halloween songs and will start to watch Halloween movies. That lasts for September and October and then.... it is Christmas time. November 1 is the true start for the Christmas season for me. When you look at everything, it is just around the corner!

Good morning. I decided to take off today and get some extra things done especially getting rid of the pile of garbage in our garage. I was so busy working around the house Saturday, I completely forgot all about it. The transfer station is open on Saturday but not Sunday. I’ve got a ton of cardboard boxes to recycle and bags and bags of trash.

I have to call a couple utility companies, go to the bank to officially change our address (we have to show them our tax bill), order checks and such. Take a bunch of stuff and donate it, and a lot more.

So, even though I’m not going to work today, I still yet have a lot of work to do.

working at the store today.
Still have not picked up my daughters car as there was a problem with a leak in the manifold that needs fixing first. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow.
Going to be hot again today with storms coming this afternoon that will break this 16 day streak of 30c ++ temperatures. (90f ++)

Hope your day is going well Star! They keep pushing back the times we are supposed to get rain...also backing off on the percentage! Go figure! Hope your storms aren't bad & you get a break from the heat!

Typical day of work for me, my oldest daughter has a soccer game tonight and then she is having 4 of her friends sleepover. I need to run to the grocery store later and hoping to get a workout in too. Hope you all have a great day!

Morning all.

Going out for lunch today to my nephew's restaurant: vegan spanish. Looking forward to it. Low key day today as it's going to be a scorcher. Close to 90 degrees. Will try to stay in the A/C but who knows. The dog is already feeling the heat. He'll be indoors most of the day.

Maybe go for a walk in the forest to cool down.

I'm dragging a bit today. Jazzie had a rough night. Hopefully she does better today. Harlowe will keep her company!

Typical day here, work, and trying to stay cool. One more day of heat and humidity before we drop in temps. Can't wait! We are supposed to dip down into the 50's overnight. Sounds like heaven.

We had 50's for a low last week. It was crazy how much you could sweat during the day & then need a jacket at night! CRAZY! Enjoy the cool down!!

Well another QVC big CIJ weekend event has come and gone. Fun was had by all and glitter manufacturers around the world rejoiced.

Let me also mark the 5 year anniversary of our biggest CIJ party here on the forums by giving a shout out to the class of 2013. While so many have faded away, it’s good to see some of us still here continuing the tradition.

3430 posts over one weekend about an event that brought us such classics as the cheerleader and Poo-pourri.

To put that in perspective, it took until March 19th this year for the countdown to reach 3430 posts.

Truly a weekend that’ll never be topped.

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

I had a great birthday Saturday! I sat around the house all day, watching scifi movies and eating popcorn. Then the family took me out to dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant.

Most of last weekend and all of this week will be devoted to Elizabeth's The Little Mermaid production. The show is Thursday through Sunday, and from the scenes I've already seen, she'll be great!

Good morning ... I was sad to miss most of QVC's CIJ this past weekend however we were at the shore with the kids and had a blast and didn't get back until yesterday so I got see some of it yesterday afternoon and evening.Great weather, Beach, water park, boardwalk, rides, games and fudge ... couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Still on vacation this week but hoping to use this time get a lot of these small projects done. Well I need to get caught up on the posts. Have a great morning.

Hi All, Happy Monday.
Its nearly summer break in the UK, my kids all finish on Thursday and I've booked a nice little beach hut trip for Friday, hope the weather is kind to us. Then it's count down to our Summer Holiday in August, then our Xmas trip to NYC!
Lots to look forwards to - just got to get through the next few days of a heavy workload.
