Good Morning, MMC~

Merry Tuesday!!

We are currently at 60°, and it feels wonderful!!! A high of 80° for today.
It was nice to walk the girls last night with such low humidity.
Here’s a pic I snapped of them over the weekend.

Just a normal day here~ work and taking care of the girls this evening.
Adrian is on a guys trip in Washington D.C. to the All Star game with his Dad and nephew. They are having fun.

I spoke with my parents last night, they are having a wonderful time in Alaska. They did a wildlife ride/tour yesterday, and said that it was pretty amazing. Today, they are white water rafting!
Their 50th Anniversary is Friday

We are down to @ 46 Days Until The ‘Bers!! It’s so great to see Autumn in the stores again. I picked up a jack-o-lantern scarecrow!

Progressing on through the month.
(Can you believe that July is now over half through?)

We are also progressing along nicely through our count and on toward a major Milestone marker.

Days to the Season: 119
Days to Christmas Day: 161

And the 100-Day Season Window/start of a double-digit Season count?
Well, that's only NINETEEN days away, now!
(Don't blink! The year is rapidly getting away from us.)

Continued warm and humid weather from the time we get up until we retire for the evening. Had a brief light sprinkle early yesterday evening.
We have a much better chance of precipitation today, and it has commenced here in the capital city at 76 degrees.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
We’re expecting showers/storms later this afternoon with a high of 83 degrees. I’m heading out in a little bit to get my errands over with. But first I’m going to take Rocky out, we’re still working on his walking on a leash skills. He’s not crazy about it but has made progress. I really want him to love going for walks, hopefully we’ll get to that point. Other than that I have my daily chores. Dinner will be tacos, Mexican rice & chips with guacamole. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Not much up for today besides work. I get a hair cut/color after work. That's about it! Jim got a phone call this morning that he could have the day off. Bum!!

Morning MMC. Just a hot and humid day with some thunderstorms coming to knock down those 2 things. Saw a little CIJ this weekend and enjoyed reading some of the posts on here about it. Hope everyone has a good day!

We were SUPPOSED to get rain yesterday, but it missed us again!!! Well, it rained enough to make the cement a little wet! It was all around us again, but nothing here! Hope your storms aren't too bad!

We had a nice rainstorm yesterday afternoon. Started about three and went off and on until after supper. Everything needed a nice long drink. Plus it pulled the humidity a bit out of the air.

Planted some wildflowers in the backyard. We're trying to naturalize a part of the back to encourage wildlife: pollinators, birds, etc. I was thinking of making some bird houses. The feeders we have now seem to make the squirrels happy, and some of the birds.

Picked up some nice produce at the farmers market on Sunday. They had some wonderful orange beets, peppers, radishes, and some daikon. I'll have to figure out how to cook the last one as I've never had it before. Adventures!

Hope you get everything done that you want too, but also have some time for relaxing!!

Thanks Holiday. We sure did, but it took all day to do so. We left the house around noonish and we didn't get back home till 10:30 last night. We spent the whole day on the road traveling from one end of the state to the other and back. It was a very productive day and we enjoyed the time being on the road together.
