Christmas Countdown - 2018

Thanks! We can’t wait for our Frankenmuth day. We live an hour and a half south of there, so you’d think we would visit more often. But we really don’t. We love the chicken dinners and shopping throughout the town. And of course, Bronnor’s is a huge highlight.

Sounds amazing! I would love to get there someday!

Good evening! It’s been a busy couple of days here, so I haven’t got to check in. I’m off tomorrow and looking forward to it. DH is currently working 48 hours straight and hasn’t even been there for 24 of it, so it’s been busy here and some sleep deprivation noted too.

It’s a nice, cool morning outside. 55 degrees currently, with highs in the low 70’s. Love it. It will warm up starting tomorrow, and stay hot and humid for awhile.

Today is Adi’s Birthday, we’ll celebrate a little tonight, and more over the weekend with friends.

Otherwise, a normal day ahead. A few meetings, work, and will try to get started on some continued education for real estate.

Harlowe & Jazzie are doing pretty well, thankfully. Fingers crossed that it continues.

The movie "In the Tall Grass " by Stephen King is being filmed here in town and just outside of town. Lots of excited folks here. One of our local arenas is shut down and turned into a filming stage, the place is full of, you guessed it, long grass.!

Good morning MMC!! Happy August! WOW! Back to school month. Seems impossible!!! Merry Pines Day too! I got up this morning & thought it was Thursday. I'm all confused this week!

Tomorrow is Lucy's D-day! She gets spayed. My poor girl!! I took off work on Friday & I'll be meeting a friend at the lake tomorrow night to try to keep my mind off of it, since she has to spend the night at the vet!

Not much up for today besides work! Hope you all have a great day!!!

And as far as the 100-Day Season marker, our next Milestone, is concerned, note that we are now a bare THREE days away.

It’s going to be another warm and humid day. I’m heading out as soon as I finish my cup of coffee to run a few errands. I have to stop at the post office, the bank and Rite Aid. I also want to stop and get bird food for the feeders in the back yard. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I’m going to scrub the bathrooms today, clean the wood floors and work on the laundry. I’m going to grill chicken for dinner later tonight along with garlic Parmesan potato wedges and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve! This is actually my Friday! YAY!! I wish it were for different reasons, but still nice to be off tomorrow. My Lu went in this morning to be spayed. I'll be able to pick her up tomorrow morning. They are supposed to call when she is out of surgery. She had the zoomies this morning ~ I told my hubby she won't have zoomies in a few hours!! Poor girl!

Just work for me today. Then I have some stuff to get done at home & then I'll be heading to the lake!! Hoping to spend the whole weekend there, pending how Lubug is doing!

[Holiday]

I have purchased my first gift for Christmas 2018! It's something for DD and I think she'll like it. I need to have her make a list, but she isn't picky and being 13, there are more movies, comic books, & art supplies that she likes instead of toys.

We have also made our Labor Day weekend plans & our 25th wedding anniversary plans (December). We'll get home on Christmas Eve. I need to be sure I have everything done before we leave so I don't come home to chaos!

Schools starts next Wednesday...
