"I always say, 'Don't retire - inspire'. There's a lot to be done." by Micky Rooney 2008

I am always sad when old actors die, they have inspired and paved the way for entertainment and should always be honoured.

I think it's actually Mickey Rooney who passed away :-(

In addition to voicing Santa Claus in "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "The Year without a Santa Claus," Mickey Rooney turned in a touching performance in "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" (1984). I also remember hearing on the Merry Podcast that he is an honorary member of the Santa Claus Hall of Fame. He had a career that ranged from vaudeville to silent films to sound films and musicals to television and Broadway. Amazing longevity and talent. God rest his soul.

Yes not sure why I typed Rourke. It was late. Or early depending on how you look at it

Comedian John Pinette has died. I don't know how many people were familiar with him, but I remember him being quite funny.

Also Mickey Rourke has passed. His career included many, many movies. I will remember him by watching Santa Claus is comin to town.

Rest In Peace, both Mr Pinette and Mr Rooney.

John Pinette was a big man who used self deprecating humor as his comedy. He was also in movies i.e. The Punisher.

In what has to be a shocking turn of events or something he saw coming, former pro wrestler the Ultimate Warrior has passed after reconciling with his former employers and being inducted into the hall of fame this past weekend.
So far it's been said it was natural causes, which makes me wonder if he saw it coming.

Just read that....sad to see, maybe too much excitement the past few days too.

Pretty sad that after the Hell froze over hug at the hall of fame for him to pass away few days later

Also in the British mini-series "Flickers" in the 1970s, and in the original BBC TV musical series "Pennies from Heaven." You wouldn't know it from "Roger Rabbit," because he does a perfect American accent!

Rip mr. Hoskins.
Let's not have any more talk of a roger rabbit sequel in his honor.
Also, let's give his Christmas Carol a watch.

Tell me more about his Christmas Carol! That's news to me.

That actually would be awesome.
Maybe they should do that. Patrick Stewart has someone take over from him every year
