Whoa Nellie.

I'm pretty one-dimensional when it comes to sports these days, not much in to college anything, but you're right about Jackson and Lundquist. I always enjoyed hearing Jackson in particular because you could tell he loved what he was doing and had a passion for it.

Coming out of the merry side corner; playing along for the first time ...

Ringo Starr
Ned Beatty
Desmond Tutu
Betty White
Kirk Douglas
Liza Minnelli
Doris Day
Sidney Poitier
Angela Lansbury
Billy Graham

Removed Zsa Zsa Gabor off my list 'cause she slipped by from a heart attack without me realizing it.

#10 on my list is dead; 99 - wow!

I remember Marty; mainly for his spot on the Hollywood Squares whenever I was home sick from school.
Trivia: As half of the team of Martin & Rossi, he was on the Ed Sullivan Show broadcast that introduced The Beatles.

Emma Chambers (Alice in Vicar of Dibley and Hugh Grant's little sister in Notting Hill) died aged 53 the other day :-(

David Ogden Stiers - Major Winchester from MASH, age 75.
Also the voice of Cogsworth in “ Beauty and the Beast Christmas Enchantment.”

Plus Stiers was in the cast for some of Stan Freberg’s antics.

Here as Thomas Jefferson to Freberg’s Ben Franklin.

So sorry to hear that ... I was watching an episode of M*A*S*H yesterday that featured him. I watched a (PBS or Smithsonian, I forget which) documentary a couple weeks ago, and at the end I was surprised to see he was the narrator. His voice when he wasn't playing Winchester was completely different. Rest his soul.
