I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow to get everything but the vegies and etc. for Thanksgiving dinner!!cheesy
We'll probably buy ours this weekend...after we go for a test drive in a new Chevy. Our local Chevy dealer sent us a certificate that will entitle us to one free turkey with a test drive. I'll test drive a car to get a free turkey!!
I won't get my turkey until the Tues. before Thanksgiving because my work gives them to us for free so that's when they give them out. No shopping for a Turkey for me! Yeah!!:carve:
Way to get a jump on things! I am going to get all of my supplies this weekend--I hate waiting until the last minute. Anyone been to the grocery store the day before Thanksgiving?? Madhouse!!
I always bake on that day, but I go 2 days before for fresh things and it is a madhouse even then!!
Ok im must confess,Im thinking about getting my Thanksgiving Dinner from my local grocery store.Its 60 bucks and I dont have to do a darn thing but pick it up and pay.Im just not sure I wanna kill myself this year..lol..I will have to make my mum's stuffin though.It's still up in the air If I'll get it. has anyone ever done this? My SIL does it every year and she said its delicious.
My husband's family did that one year and they said it was ok. I'm sure it's not like home cookin' though.
We have done it several times and it is great! Also - we go to Thanksgiving evry year at a house that often has catered Kosher Thanksgiving food - terrific! And we got a vegetarian takeout last year from a Buddist Chinese restaurant - and they were great!
With the price of food you will spend that $30 very quickly!!!!cheesy

I have not gotten my turkey yet but just like in years past, my work gives us our turkey so I won't get it until Tues. before Thanksgiving. My grocery store has started giving away turkey's again if you spend a certain amount of money but I haven't checked to see my progress on that yet.
