Big HELLO from Lithuanian girl in the UK

Hello everyone! I'm so glad I found this community of people who start thinking about Christmas in summer as I do. ^^ For the most people I know it sounds strange and they think I'm crazy so it's very good to know that I'm not the only one. A bit crazy about Christmas. ^^ My name is Victoria. I'm originally from Lithuania but I came to the UK (Scotland in particular) for my studies. :} It's my first time here and I hope to stay here for upcoming 4 years so I'm very curious about how people treat Christmas in the country. Although I noticed that Christmas preparation begins quite early here. I already saw some decorations in ''Poundland'' stores which actually surprised me.

Greetings and welcome. Yes, some of our stores are getting the Christmas items out now.
We have to shop early for decorations in some stores or else items will be gone.

Well, I still haven't used to the unpredictable Scottish weather. One moment it doesn't look like rain but after a few minutes it's completely pooring.

It seems like people are very friendly and helpful here although I noticed that Scottish youth (especially students at the university) prefer communicating with Scottish people rather than foreigners. :]
