Wow. We have to get the foodies in with the Christmas organizers like we had on earlier today. That would take some planning

Yeah, that's why I asked. Is "wild" boar still popular?

Yes, for some. It's a bit expensive and exotic for others. I've had boar and it's delicious.

It's pretty much fire roasted isn't it?

Rotisserie style?

If you have the room to do that.

They're huge!

But usually it's butchered and slow roasted. Then the head is presented

Oh? For some reason I thought it was a whole animal kind of thing?

(I'm probably thinking of the Samoan Christmas)

There are many places in the UK, Canada and the US which offer a boar's head dinner for the holidays

Have you ever done it?

Not yet, but it's on the list

I can only imagine how long that list might be
