Have letters gone down now that email is prevalent?

No, the messages have only increased with every thing. It's a matter of people, not technology

We are trying to develop some new features this year for the websites that will hopefully cut down on some of the mail we receive

So often it isn't a wishlist that a child wants me to see

 

[Santa]

They just have questions

I have a little book of children's letters to Santa from the 1800s up to about 1920. It's charming to read.

And if we can use the websites to answer those questions maybe it will help the mail issue

How neat! Did you know we KEEP every letter and message that we receive at the North Pole?

That was my next question! That must take quite a lot of space.

But now I know where they got the letters for the book!
