2) J C Penneys was a disappointment this year decorations-wise. Nothing but small, cheap cartoonish decorations hanging from the ceiling like random snowflakes and cross-eyed reindeer.
But the entrance to their Christmas merchandise section was nice enough to justify a photo.
3) Nice door display elsewhere at North Hills Mall.
I have a few photos from Saturday to upload. I took about 24 but very few turned out due to the fact that it was dusk and much of them were of Christmas lights throughout downtown Ottawa.
Took this when I was in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. It's one of the posh department stores - the kind that you look around but rarely buy anything in or, if you do, it's only so you can get a bag with the name of the store on it!!!

Unfortunately, for Crown, Spark Street has changed the lamppost decor this Season. Last year, as you may recall, the lampposts were black with beautiful green wreaths sitting on top. This year, they went for a more modern look. Compare the following!
