Our Walmart had all of the Christmas items stocked up high on the shelves for about three weeks now so no one could see what they were. Within the past couple of days, they finally started displaying outside decorations! How exciting! I have the Christmas countdown already (last picture, on the left), except mine is red - I guess they changed it from last year!​

Thank you, Jennifer. Kim and I have been looking for a decent Christmas Countdown decoration. It looks like we may have to pay our Walmart a visit!

A Christmas To Remember just opened today!
Will snap a photo when I can and update my post #1 with it.

In the meantime, Sears has gotten into the act!

1) Entrance to their Christmas section

2) Bows and Bells on sale!

3) Artificial Christmas trees are available.
(A bit pricey for my taste!)

Kim and I had an enjoyable adventure this afternoon. Although we were not greeted with Christmas as to the amount received by Crown, we still experienced some signs, nonetheless.

First, we stopped in Bulk Barn and noticed a few Christmas products were on sale!

Next, we visited Walmart to pick up a few things. Unfortunately, there was no Christmas Countdown decoration like I had hoped. However, we did manage to snap a few photos.

Here are a few more from Walmart!

The Christmas stuff was all buried on the final shelf in the "Seasonal section" behind all the Halloween decorations. At least there was a decent amount for this time of year. Walmart also had Christmas theme gift cards, etc in a high-traffic area of the store. It looked decent, but Kim and I didn't manage to take a photo.

Overall, it was enjoyable. I am expecting a lot of stores to convert to Christmas mid-to-late next week. I'll probably head over to the Rideau Centre for a visit quite soon. I really want to see some of the displays that Crown has shared! The only real downfall for displays this year is that Sears in the Rideau Centre is closing its doors and making way for a Nordstrom. It won't be open until next year. One less major store to walk through for a magical Christmas experience. Oh well! At least there are still a few other places!
