Belks looks great, Crown!!!!


I wish we still had still store's in my mall that decorated. Heck, I wish we still had stores in my mall. It's about 70% empty now. It's kind of sad.

The contrast between Belks and Macys within the same mall is striking.

Beautiful, festive displays and a real nice Christmas merchandise section in Belks while Macy's has a tucked-away-near-the-wall Christmas area that looks like an afterthought and such paltry decorations I didn't find them worth photographing.

I'll have to take back what I said about Macys.
I had been on the upper level where there were few signs of decoration.
Went through the lower level today and things were MUCH more festive.

Will have to take some photos next week!

Hey!! Santa arrived at Crabtree Valley Mall Saturday!
Got some photos this morning and will be adding in the near future along with some more mall decorations.
Macys too!

1) These overhead decorations have been used for several years now, but they are good ones!

Christmas signs are everywhere in Branson, MO. Their theatres start the Christmas shows the first week in November. Some run right to Christmas but several shut down about the first or second week in December so the staff can celebrate Christmas with their families. Same with silver dollar city and the fountain with lights and fire at the Branson landing.

Top is Andy Williams Christmas show at Moon River Theatre showing the Lennon Sisters with the Osmonds. Next is a pre show with carolers at the Sight and sound Theatre for The Miracle Of Christmas. And lastly, the 5 story Christmas tree at silver dollar city...timed to lights and music.
