Christmas Blossoms - 2015

It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas where you are!

Thanks, Crown. I am really enjoying it all the Christmas items out already. Hopefully these stores will fully decorate for the Season shortly. Of course, it's nice to look at all the available purchases, but the old fashioned Christmas decorations throughout the stores always provide a great finishing touch!

Anyway, here is a batch I photographed on Saturday. I wish I could have shared earlier, but I have been far too busy. I hope you enjoy!

It all started with a visit to Winners.

I work at a Winners Homesense store and I recognized the displays/merch right away. Sounds like you had fun going from store to store and taking pictures Brent. Looking forward to doing just that in about 3 weeks.

So far there is practically nothing in the stores here yet but I did see a shop where they were clearing a huge section of their shelves

Allrighty. The buds are coming out at Crabtree Valley Mall with the blossoms shortly to follow!

Empty brackets where greenery will soon appear.

(I'm sure Halloween Alley will be giving way to "A Christmas To Remember after October 31!)

3) And where is that greenery grown? Why, right here in Crabtree's own farm!

(Yep. Looks about ready for harvesting!)

Here's the pictures I promised from the plantation I pass every morning that I cycle to work (finally). It doesn't look that Christmassy yet, but if we're lucky enough to get some snow this winter that will surely change!

3) Meanwhile at Wal-Mart, a giant Santa oversees a small forest of Christmas trees.

4) Back at the Neuse Sport Shop on the way to the beach Saturday, I saw this nifty fireplace display!

Nice. You guys do a great job with your Christmas sections. I have found a bunch of fantastic stuff at Homesense the past few years. I love it! Looking forward to when the Christmas music comes on, too!

I love the Neuse Sport Shop display. Very festive! Good to see that your Walmart actually has Christmas Trees up. I went in to our usual Walmart on Saturday and there was still absolutely nothing. It was all boxes of Halloween candy as far as the eye can see. So disappointing! It looked as if that candy wasn't moving very far/being purchased either. This is definitely the latest I have ever seen the local Walmart welcome Christmas...
