Good Morning Everyone! A cloudy and much cooler day here. The hi only being about 50. Looks as if we may get rain a little later. Today is also my s/o Birthday. We plan to have a lobster dinner with his parents this evening. Should be a nice time and visit since his parents will be leaving on Thursday for California, Arizona then Mexico for the winter. I hope everyone has a good day! =)

A frosty one here in Raleigh, but not quite as cold as yesterday.
We currently stand at 46. Fortunately, it is sunny and completely calm.
Should be dry for the next 3 days.

Long time since Ive posted here lol , Is it really 65 days till the BIG day. Im constantly listening to christams albums and watching movies. Just noticed the adverts sneaking onto the tv now as well. Have a Great Tuesday friends !
 
Last night as we were going out, my neighbour up the street was stringing his icicle lights. My wife told me not too look at them because she didn't want me to get any ideas. I guess she figured it would be tacky if the front yard was decorated for Christmas while the back yard is already decorated for Halloween. I guess singing christmas lights don't really go very well with strobe lights and pumpkins that play the theme from halloween.

Our little street corner which is just 5 minutes from McAddenville (Christmas town) is sort of a mini christmas town and always in the papers up here every year. We usually have cars constantly creeping up and down our street at Christmas. God I love it.
 
Almost 20 days till the season, can it be, it seems like yesterday the year just started. Have a great day and continue counting the days...........

Unchosen, Fragmnts, I think Christmas icicle lights would look just fine out with the Halloween lights. I have had frost here along with the rain already and that makes icicles. hee hee. You just wouldnt have to plug them in until night after Halloween. That way you will be a little a bit a head when it comes to putting up the rest of your lights.

We are in full fall here. The trees are so beautiful this year. Probably because we have had some good hard frosts already.

Went to Walmart today and boy their whole seasonal section is decorated to the hilt for Christmas already. Gee it was wonderful but they didn't have any new nutcrackers yet this year. sniff sniff.

Hey Cedar, been too long. Way to quiet.

Isn't it great that it is Wednesday? I love looking at the count every day. And the board is so busy with happy talk!

I ran out of Italian Sweet Cream for the coffee, so I have to get more. (My husband loves it too.)

I hope you have some fun today!

It's cold here today...26º this morning!!! BRRRRRRR!!! :cold: I do love to look out the window & see the frost on the neighbors roof tops w/ the smoke coming out of their chimneys!! It looks so cozy!! Makes me want to stay home from work & bake cookies today! Lol!

SparkleNana...I don't mean to "rub it in" but I am sitting here sipping on my Italian Sweet Cream flavored coffee this morning!! :grin: You better hurry & get ya some more!!!
 
Holiday - I took your advice and raced out to buy more Italian Sweet Cream for my coffee. they only had two left in the refrigerator case! (I left the other one for the next Christmas Lover!)

Has anyone tried the "Tiramisu" flavor of refrigerated coffee creamer?

Good Morning, folks.

It's a great day after a great night's sleep (in my bed, although I have been known to fall asleep on my couch in the evening and just stay there until morning).
The birds are singing, the sun is shining, it's calm and all is right with the world (except that it is a bit chilly, at 42).

Our count:
Days to the Season: 22 (Hey! Three weeks from tomorrow, guys!)
Days to Christmas Day: 64
Days to Halloween: 9 (Single digits are here!)
(We just keep getting closerer and closerer, don't we?)

Thanks for joining me again at the peak of the week this morning, Holiday. That weekend view looks great, as usual.
And slowly the view to the Season is clearing in the mist!

Very chilly here in the UK like normal i suppose! Yes Holiday that is a great view, its almost close enough to touch!
