Oh my goodness. Look at those gorgeous, gorgeous machines!! I'll take the 1938 Cady. Yep, that's the one I want to get out of. WOW! COOL!! Great pictures Crown!!!! God, they knew how to build a beautiful car, didn't they?

YABBA! ~ my contribution is this: YOU ROCK MY WORLD! A muffin cake baking in the oven.

Morning all!

Well, it's Monday once again! These Mondays seem to be coming around fast! Had a really busy week last week, which is why I wasnt around much!

Anyway, we're finally getting there with the decorating of the inside of our house, the carpenter should only be around for one or two more days, the kitchen tiles are being done this week, and we're in the process of choosing our carpet for upstairs, so close to finishing it now :-)

The latest seasonal stuff in my local supermarket is now spring gardening stuff, after that it will be summer BBQ stuff, then back to school then the Christmas stuff will start appearing! I cant wait!!! :-)

Anyhoo, hope everyone is well, and you're having a great Monday!

Crown~ My husband is drooling over your car pictures. Should I be jealous?...
Not unless he's planning to run off with one, I guess!

Good Morning, fellow Christmas-A-Holics!

Days to the Season: 227
Days to Christmas Day 269

Rain here in Raleigh, but what the heck - we can use it.
Less drought, less pollen, lower fire danger.
There is a bright side to a rainy day (??)

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to start moving another week closer to Christmas!

Have a Marvelous Monday, friends!

I love the old Caddy's. I'm a fan of BIG cars. There's a 64 Thunderbird near me that's for sale but my wife says NO!!!

I have a Ford Focus right now but when I got it I needed something that had lots of room and got good gas mileage. I rarely drive anymore so as soon as I can I plan on getting a late model used Mercury Grand Marquis. 1 of the few cars left that's actually built on a frame. V-8 and real wheel drive too, how a should SHOULD be.

Good Morning All!~

I took this pic of one of my Spitzhauben hens looking in the window...longing for some kind of greenery!

Hey Debbie~ Did you enjoy some "Sugar-On-Snow" yesterday? (a northern maple syrup treat of fresh maple poured on snow)

Have a good Monday everyone. Just think, spring is here in SOME places in the United States...I do see Robins..and new buds...and college kids in shorts...so I know it won't be long.

YABBA!!!

Agreed, my friend!
That's why I hang on to my '85 Crown Vic!

Since you can't get the '64 T-Bird you want, here's the next best thing.
(A picture may be worth 1,000 words, but it's a poor substitute for driving!)

I love the expressive faces cars used to have!

Boy, I hear you about the cars. My favorite car was a 1974 Lincoln Continental, four doors (alas, not the suicide doors). I bought that car for about $700 and I took it literally four-wheeling taking pictures high in the Wasatch mountains every summer. You breathe on the accelerator and the front end of that car would rise and that thing would just float....

I've never really been active in this thread, but a discussion about big, old cars is sure to drag me in.

I used to have a '96 Caprice with an LT1. 330 lb/ft of torque at 2500rpm in a 4300lb car can be a lot of fun. I had to let it go because it was just too tired and beat up (retired Cook Co. sheriff's car) for me to want to keep it, but I'd love to have another one some day.

My fun car right now is a '79 Malibu... not so big, but full perimeter frame and rear wheel drive with a little work under the hood.

By the way... did you guys know that Ford is pulling the plug on the old Panther cars (Crown Vic, Grand Marquis)? End of an era, for sure.

Good morning everyone, happy last day of March. Hope everyone has a great week.
Yes we had a great day yesterday, no snow with syrup on it but had cupcakes with maple frosting & got some maple candy.
The weather is rainy with temps in the 40's but will go up to 60 tomorrow.
The trees are starting to bud here, my ***** willow tree is also budding, & flowers starting to come up little by little. Seeing Robins all around & we have 2 ducks hanging out here in the empty lot that looks like a pond with all the water in it.

Love that chicken Cedar...don't tell me, let me guess...His name is Don King?

Good day all..Been getting a little snow here since last night. About 2 inches out there now. I feel like hibernating for another few weeks or so...*L I hope everyone has a good week.

Well thanks Jon! I get kinda tired of hearing, "oh, why don't you grow up!" from my local audience! Nice to get a little applause from those who don't know me as well and still think I'm funny!

Teachers used to say..."Mr. Ish thinks he's a comedian...We'll wait..."
