HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! Just taking a short break from cleaning (ugh!) to wish you all a happy Turkey Day!! Hope you have a great one filled with family, friends & lots of yummy food!! :family:

We are contributing 3 kinds of pie, three kinds of wine, and the vegetarian main dish. (Tofurkey roast with Tofurkey gravy. There are always lots of vegetarians at our family dinners, although only 3% of Americans are vegetarians.)

I must admit that I enjoy being a guest more than a host at big family dinners. Although I am happy when it is my turn to host.
I would be quite happy to have Thanksgiving dinner at any sort of restaurant (and I would be sure to tip extra generously!) For me - Thanksgiving is really a low stress holiday. How about you?

It is 5 minutes to 1:00, east coast time. My husband has just taken some salad into the family room, to turn on the TV an d ENJOY!!!!
About the salad? Oh year! We TRAIN for the big feast!

For the feminine side, I have been watching a very stupid but somehow touching Christmas movie on the Hallmark channel. I am defrosting the tofurkey roast and tofurkey gravy. Eventually you WILL be desensitized to vegetarian-speak. And you will just accept it. YES - I KNOW YOU WILL! You will accept the fact that some people are vegetarians. And that is that! The world is still OK if some people are vegetarians. You can still eat meat. In fact, I still eat meat an d love to eat meat. Even though I only cook vegetarian for all the people in my family. See? Peace.

You do not want this board to be hijacked on a holiday by someone with a very twisted sense of humor, and an unlimited supply of delicious wine, who does not have to drive, operate heavy machinery or take care of children today.
I know that there are plenty of you out there who are thoroughly wholesome. Hoever, come to think of it, you are probably working like mad. Not sitting at the computer, with a delicious glass of wine by their side. He he he.

Great parade, especially seeing one of my all-time favorite Christmas singers, Andy Williams. Looked pretty good to be almost 81, but he was obviously lip-syncing his famous "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year".
26days to the big dance...time´s running insanely fast now...but I love it....as I mentioned before...the city looks beautifull now....and everything is Christmassy already....I saw the first car with a tree on top on it....
....actually I havce never seen someone buy a tree that early....I know they are bought that early....but never saw it...and I loved it.
I also had to buy a Santa Hat for Kandice, because they are supposed to wear that on Sunday 7th...at the Baby Gymnastics St. NIkolaus thing...u know....they are all little and are going to show of their skillz in running and climbing and jumping....and little gymnastics.....and it will make them look even cuter when they are wearing a Santa´s Hat
