5 days, 2 hours and 15 minutes 'till Christmas day in UTC/GMT time zone!

Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings!

:???::merry:

Time is going by oh so fast. I am going to finish mixing my cookie batter tonight and baking the cookies tomorrow. Then in between I need to finish the last of my wrapping of my packages. Can hardly wait.

:hello: Picking up that last present tomorrow. Supposed to be bitterly cold here, but hey that's what Christmas is all about. Shopping and frost bite.

And a little eggnog now and then doesn't hurt.

I'm so tuckered this week. I'm worried I'll sleep through Christmas.

Think I'll be having a few naps during my vacation time.

Hey, I'm starting to sound like Crown. That's okay. I don't mind.

Tomorrow I'll finish wrapping my presents. Oh and I still have to make one more copies of the Family Festive Slideshow for my parents. It's much like the photos in my albums, but with additional pics and family members. I tried to set it to music and was going to produce a DVD for everyone, but I discovered I don't have the capability on my computer so that will be something I'll want to look into in the New Year.

cheesy Wouldn't it be neat to see O'Malley the Cat on YouTube. HaHa.

Merry soon to be Christmas, y'all!

I can't believe I haven't been on here since 12/7! What's wrong with me? Oh, yeah, I had to finish my semester AND I started a new job--yikes! I also can't believe how fast the season has approached this year. I've barely had time to think. I'm STILL putting up decorations, don't have my shopping done, haven't made cookies yet, and I'm exhausted! I did finally get all my Christmas cards done...yay! At least one thing is accomplished! But as disorganized as it is, I'm still enjoying the season! I still plan to post my decoration pics to my album when I get the decorating done. I also have new pics of Alice (cat) with her Christmas collar to post.

Hope everyone is enjoying the season! :hi:

Under 5 days to go!!
Almost done all my wrapping.

Can't believe it's almost here.

Only 2 more working days before the Xmas holidays!!

Yeah!!

Good Morning Everbody, and Everything Christmas!

We are really closing in now on the Big Day!
Today is Day 38 of our Christmas Season.
Days to Christmas Day: 5 (WOW! So close, now.)

Another overcast one here in Raleigh. The nice sunny day predicted for yesterday did not materialize althought it was warm.
Currently, we stand at 57.

Have a Stupendous Saturday - the last Saturday before Christmas!
.....And a Wonderous final Weekend before Christmas.
(You know Christmas is close when lots of "lasts" start occurring!)

Enjoy your day!

168 posts to 5,000.
That means to make it to that mark, we must average 14 posts per day counting today through Dec 31. That is pretty close to our average, so it's nip and tuck!
However, if we can get a good group here on Christmas Eve to help usher in the Big Day, we should have no problem surpassing 5K.
How about it? Anyone care to join me?

OK OPERA will debut at some point this weekend.. that should bring MULTITUDES to the forum and we should have no difficulty surpassing the 1 million post mark!!

YABBA.. I LOVE PLAID...... YABBA YABBA YABBA

Plaid! Plaid! I forgot about Plaid! (Sigh. I am shallow.) Crown -- I love the "lasts"! Thank you for pointing out that we are having lots of "lasts" now. The "last weekend before Christmas". "The last day of school before Christmas".

Have a Happy Christmassy Day, Friends!

Oh - has anyone gone to a store this weekend? How are they where you are?

Only 4 days, 5 hours and 2 minutes remaining in UTC/GMT time zone. The weekend has gone fast (well today especially!) and hope for the first few days of the week go fast too as we approach Christmas eve :).

Merry Christmas all!

Is anybody doing anything Christmassy today???

I wrapped two gifts. Now I am going to the post office (which is open to 4:00 on Saturdays) to mail them.

Is anybody doing anything Christmassy today???.....
Yes!
Was out and wanted to get a sandwich for lunch.
Passed up the restaurants that were not decorated and stopped at one that was.
They had a nice tree covered with poinsettia blossoms as ornaments. Beautiful!

We had snow yesterday, are supposed to get more tomorrow and then again on Christmas Eve. Thankfully, someone has plowed us out each time this year, so I've only had to shovel part of the driveway (as the husband is always gone himself plowing for his work......) He runs the loader and moves snow half the night and day.....
My house is quiet.
My son has left to go back home to Pittsburgh, and the grand-kids are gone home, too.
I think I'll take a nap.

The post office was crowded.

The grocery store was not crowded.

Children from across the street just rang the doorbell and had a gift of cranberry bread they had baked! Luckily, I always keep small gifts for children here - and they were happy they were not wrapped, so they could take them home and play with them. That visit made me feel Christmassy!
