Good Morning!

Gosh Crown, that sounds bad...the TreeHugger website I occasionally visit (and yes, that's the name of it!) said North Carolina is in "Exceptional drought conditions" which means the worst kind. Sounds like bathing with a cup of water and a toothbrush isn't so far fetched. Just don't ask for the Great Lakes water! "Arid-zona" keeps trying but we are fighting them off. People move to the Sunny arid desert states and then complain about the lack of water. hmmm. Funny, we are getting more snow, record amounts here this winter...I'm flying the white flag, enough already!

Hey Scoob, how many candles did you blow out?

One pertinent question...Where on Earth is Norfolk?
YABBA!!

The last I heard, they were passed out across a table at Starbucks, a coffee cup still dangling from one finger.
I understand Starbucks is considering using a photo of them with the slogan "slurp till you droop".
They are working out reimbusement arrangements for their image.
The payout will be in coffee, of course.

~heeheehee Crown! "Slurp till you droop"...okie dokie artichokie!

BTW Moon Gods and Goddesses...Stay up for the "REEEEAAALLY BIG SHOE" Tonight! Total Eclipse!

Wow its nearly March!!! Christmas will be on our doorstep before you can say ''rudolph the red nosed reindeer', lol!!

Did someone say Total Lunar Eclipse? I love that Flavor..... OMG when did they start brewing that again at 7-11? OMG.. get out.......

There they go again.. putting that sheet out on theair car and sleeping on top of it.... be careful Jay- while hitting thou bakeries .. a sleepy person curled up in a sheet with frost on them might mistake you for a matress...

YABBA.... ( hey- I shook the Rev Jesse Jackson's hand today!)

Happy belated birthday, Scoobie! 30 is only half of 60.

Coffee beans roasting on an open fire...

Wait, no that's not how it goes ... hmmm. I had an extra cup this morning and I'm still ticking like a TIMEX watch.

cheesy Don't worry Cedar, beautiful night here - clear sky. I hope my photos turn out okay, if so, rest assured I'll share them. Although, I don't think I'll be successful enough to go the slideshow route, I will post whatever turns out though.

:snowball: Busy two weeks, finally jumped that hurdle and landed on solid ground. I finally understand a bit more how busy life was for the 100 acre wood gang, especially Pooh bear counting all the bees in the hive and for rabbit tending to his garden and worried that Tigger would come along and bounce all over it, and everyone trying to cheer up gloomy old Eeyore and making room in their forest for Kanga and Roo and then of course the time when rabbit and all of his friends and relations helped Pooh bear get unstuck.

Good day today.

Okay, you might not understand that, but if you ever read A.A. Milne's stories or watched a few Disney films or made or received Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet or Rabbit from the McCall's (sp.) pattern book - you know what I'm talking about. Life is good.

How is everyone tonight? I am tired. Lately I haven't had any energy. I don't know what my problem is, but I hope it improves soon.

Hi Auntie~Mae!!
OK, OK...lets try and get some good shots. I'm going to try the tripod instead of pressing against my forehead for 15 minutes..LOL! (Please...no creases!) Can't wait to share with you Auntster. I see the moon is turning a weird color already....like putting buttermilk in your coffee...YABBA! Wow, it is morphing right before my eyes!!!!! Wish you were all here with me, but alas, only my down jacket feels the warmth.

Oh YABBA!

 I hear cars pulling up over by the park, they better turn their lights off - don't want them spoiling my shots.

A few friends from work went down to the dock at the waterfront (somewhat frozen lake at present) where the local astronomy club has set up telescopes - my friends have cameras too. I didn't want to go all the way down there - geesh I can take photos outside my place where it's a tad warmer than being out in the open at about 13 F. Brrrr.

I'm heading out soon.

:hello: Sugar - all you need is a "little Christmas, right this very minute" ...

cheesy For lack of a tripod - I think I'll pick one up for myself for Mother's Day this year - I'm using part of the fence - I hope it works.

It might be the weekend before I get them up though.

Hi everyone, we had snow earlier, and they have gave out more for tomorrow...YAY
Hope all my lovely christmas buddies are well :)

Happy belated birthday, Scoobie! 30 is only half of 60.
Oh, Gee, Auntie. Where does that leave me? I'm 53. That's half way to..............I don't want to think about it!

Days to the Season: 266
Days to Christmas Day 308

A chilly 34 for the morning commute.
Calm with lots of sun, however.
With the sun shining through the windows, it makes it seem much warmer. Good old greenhouse effect!

We had a nice, clear sky for the lunar eclipse last night.
I took a photo but it came out only fair on my little 5MP Kodak camera.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, guys!

Good Morning everyone! I also seen the eclipse last night. We had clear skies in Montana and the view couldn't have been better. Looks like another nice day here. Blue skies and sunny out this morning, a little chilly here right now but will warm up to about 51..spring is on the way!
