Jay...i'm brushing my teeth before 'beddy-bye'..just wanted to say "Hi" ..and yeah, this world is way too crazy..SO glad to have this forum, these wonderful people to count on.

I can't believe it but by Monday it's predicted that we will only have a high of 46º & a low of 36º!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! I am lovin this 75º weather! We slept w/ the windows open all night last night & never got too cold! That's my kind of weather!!! Darn.....

Anybody have big plans for the weekend? We're heading to the lake tonight & tomorrow night is one of my best friends bachellorette party, so that should be a great time! We're taking a bus bar hopping around the lake! My hubby's going to the bachelor party...they are going to sit in a guys shop & play cards (how boring...lol...I'm so glad I get to go with the girls on the bus!! hee heee hee)

Happy Friday everyone, sunny here today with temps in the 70's again.
Yes was having fun playing in the garden until we found out they are calling for snow next week so will not plant anymore for awhile here.

Picture the scene - waves crashing on the shore, mist rolling in over the dunes. In the distance, the vague outline of white figures running sure and steadfast, coming ever closer, whilst the haunting strains of Vangelis keeps pace with the pounding feet..............
In reality, waves crashing on the shore, mist rolling in over the dunes. In the distance, the blurry outline of grey and red figures manically pursuing taunting gulls, whilst the haunting strains of "Drop it....I SAID DROP IT - STEP AWAY FROM THE DEAD RAT.......NO, YOU CAN'T EAT SAND" are totally and completely ignored...........
Please find attached a photo of the ruined cathedral in St Andrews (in case you hadn't worked out the Chariots of Fire connection!)

CHARIOTS OF FIRE.. beat my all time FAVORITE movie REDS for best picture back in 1982.. and I swore I would one day find the artist Vangellis and one day make them wear a horrific plaid... OMG... what a horrible horrible movie... but REDS.. OMG.. that scene where Louise Bryant is waiting for Jack Reed at the train station in Moscow.. she has walked across Russia to get to him.. he is disgusted at the Russian Revolution and what has happened.... the train is attacked while enroute home from Baku... he does not know that Louise is waiting for him- he thinks she has left him and has taken up with the great playwright Eugene O Neil- the train has been attacked and she thinks he is dead..she can not find him getting off the train...and as she turns around.. he is there staring at her.. and the music soflty plays as they stumble towards eachh other... OMG.. the passion.. the passion.......... ohhhhhh

cheesy What's that I hear outside tonight? The rain. Just crept in about ten minutes ago. Sounds like our first Spring storm is here. Still about 80 miles away, I'm guessing from counting the rolls of thunder, but it's coming.
Good that it's happening at night, should be nice tomorrow, the leaves on the trees and the crocuses and a few other Spring flowers will be popping up too. The grass will be a little greenier and I will soon be saying, "Achooooooooooo".
Allergy season is on the way! Welcome Spring! Welcome!

Survived the week at work! I have this weekend to enjoy while getting a little more cleaning and organizing done because I have another twelve-day work week (I know it's more than one) coming up starting on Monday.
Isn't it exciting that we'll soon be looking at 200 days to the start of the season. I can almost smell Christmas.
Oh no, that's the pine trees along the creek. Guess they're getting a nice drink of water from the rain.
