It's hard to believe we are this <> close to Christmas again!
We hit another milestone, thanks for counting down to it Dom...and good job too!

Maureen, gorgeous picture. It is everything I dreamt the coast of Northern Scotland to be...Dark, foreboding, mysterious, romantic....makes me want to get right on a plane and be there, stand on a bluff...saluting it with a couple of brews.

YABBA!! Got to rent that movie "REDS"..when it was out, it was too long to sit through in the theatre (for me). If you like it Bing, it has to be good.

Well we have HIT a milestone today...the 1/3 marker to Christmas. Doesn't it seem like you were just at your tree opening presents on Christmas morning? Well now we are at the 1/3 marker to doing that again. Tomorrow we hit the big 200 marker to the season and fly into the 1s on Monday. It's getting closer people!

Everyone have a Stupendous Saturday and pray that Crown will be back posting on Sunday for the 200 marker!

Not to mention the drama, laughter, tears, bizarre personalities, sports, and even a few jingles from time to time. And don't forget visits from Santa himself off and on throughout the year.

Happy Saturday everyone!!! A great day here today, sunny & we have temps in the 70's here before a cold front comes in tonight. Calling for high winds, thunder, lighting & pounding rain, this will be our storm before the temps fall into the 40's again.

Saw my first cardnial & woodpecker yesterday at our bird feeder a sure sight spring is here.

Thanks for sharing the video with us Auntie. loved it.

Happy Sunday one and all, cold and gloomy here but after the last week or two, who could complain...It's nice to see real Spring weather again and not just the instant summer we've seen recently!

By the way, 1/3 of the way there...Now that is cool!

Some highlights:

First of all: Dom. Fantastic job with the count, my friend (and dare I say-----heir apparent?)!

Second: Incredible castle photo, Maureen. I have long wanted to see the European castles (assuming I can ever afford to travel overseas). Europe is just so wonderfully OLD! Such classy architecture. Such wonderful history!

Third: Holiday. Glad you like my "peak of the week" line. Will try to remember it on Wednesdays.

Finally, last but not least - To Binger.
I think I have a chance to win that Supreme Court case after all. Hidden cameras and microphones caught you trying to bribe the justices with a special blend of coffee - no doubt spiked with mind-altering chemical substances.
But that aside, welcome back from your trip, my friend and foil!

In the time I have been away, we have slid our way past the 1/3 Christmas Day marker and have not only arrived at the all-important 200-Day Season window but also are but one small step away from the 100's. Unbelievable!
I must be dreaming.
Wait, that means I'm still asleep. (What a happy thought!)

A nice, balmy 68 here in Raleigh at this hour with overcast skies. Possible rain today and tomorrow.
Could use it to wash away the pollen!

Have a Super Sunday, one and all!
Keep that Christmas song and the spirit of the Season with you as you get ready to begin moving another week closer!

Sunny & in the 60's here today, We hit 85 yesterday but the cold front come through with a terrible thunder storm, so down goes the temp.

Yes I agree Dom did a great job while you were away Crown. Hope you had a nice vacation. Nice day here today...about 65 for the hi. Suppose to be 75 tomorrow. Makes me want to go out and plant something but think I better hold off for awhile. Make sure we don't get anymore snow, sleet, hail. Hope everyone has a super Saturday.cheesy

:)) Welcome back, Crown - and belated welcome back to Binger - naughty Auntie forgot to raise a class of eggnog when you returned.

:-? Mamma- can you believe it? I fogot to pick up the birdfeeder. That's what happens when I don't add things to my list.

Of course when I go shopping and I find something I want that isn't on my list, I just borrow a pen from the cashier. HaHa.

My mom enjoys Danielle Steele's romance novels and since her stroke over a year ago she still can't read very well so I picked up two videos that were made from two of her favourites to give to her along with a comfy nightshirt and I'm making reservations for our usual Mother's Day Brunch two weeks from today. Think my brother from T.O. will be joining us. I'll treat him too.

Can it really be true that we reached the 200 day & 1/3 way mark??? Holy Hannah!!! :dance: That really does seem impossible! But how exciting!! As soon as I'm done with this post, I'm going to go back & watch a couple of the video's posted in this thread!

Hope you all had a super weeekend! It was a beautiful one here, but they are calling for rain tomorrow & lows in the 30's Tues. & Wed. night! BRRRRRRR! :cold: That is hard to imagine...it sure doesn't take long to get use to the warmer weather!!

Once again I can't believe it's already Sunday night & another weekend is coming to a end!! Times a flyin! I went to see my niece on Saturday before she left for her Senior prom...she was so beautiful...what happened to that chubby little cute baby?!?! Ahhhhh...guess that means I'm getting old too! Lol!!!

Had a fella come into the restaurant today who is a Santa Claus every Christmas, so that was my Christmas fun today in the 90 degree heat.

hi all, hope everyone had a good weekend. sat was a little chilly and sun was overcast and chilly, today it is raining. good day to stay in bed. smoked a 8 pound brisket on saturday it was very tasty i would recommend trying this. i think i ate 4 pounds myself, anyway 5 days to go 6 till the kentucky derby everyone have a good week.
