Jimmy Hoffa!!! Crown Found Jimmy Hoffa!!!

Hmmm.." it was the aroma that put Crown to sleep.... it was dark, dank, and musty.. somewhat like Wa Wa after dusk..."

YABBA....

Well.. I am back.. much pooer after the frdige went on the fritz and I lost everything.. all the coffee I had stored there... all 18 lbs... sob...

sob.. YABBA.... HEY HEY HEY.. ... A pretty girl is *like a melody...*

cheesyGood day all. I hope everyone had a nice Friday. I am looking forward to the weekend. We have been busy with our home renovations. We had a guy come over who has worked 2 days solid digging a huge hole for the basement. Of course we still have tons ahead of us but I'm totally ok with this.

We are almost in June... another month down and another one closer to Christmas!

Well there you are - the 18 pounds of coffee caused the refrigerator to tip, interrupting the power supply. It should have been balanced with 18 pounds of fired twinkies on the other side.

A good Saturday Morning, one and all!

Hey, our count continues to advance:
Days to the Season: 166
Days to Christmas Day: 208
And wow! June arrives tomorrow! And so close to the 200-Day window.
Then, in July, the 2/3 Season mark! It that possible?? Two thirds down with only one more to go? Unreal! (Like hearing that Binger actually threw away those 18 pounds of coffee.)

A nice 73 outside here at this hour. A tad overcast and rain is a possibility.
The drought we had was bad but it did have a great side benefit - the mosquito population is the lowest it has been in many years.

Well, have a Stupendous Saturday, everybody!
I hope everyone's weekend is off to a wonderous start.

Good Morning Everyone. A lovely day here today. The sun is shining bright and temps. will be in the 70's today. I think maybe in the next hour I will head off to a few garage sales and see what I can find. I hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Another busy one for me this last week. Love to be busy though.

My husband and I had another big chat about my Christmas enthusiasms, he said "when we win the lottery, will you go back to school to finish your dream?"

I said, "nope. I'm going to publish my books first and then I'm off to Santa College." He said, "no way - there's no Santa school", I said, "yes there is".

He was talking about a degree in Child's psychology, but that's his dream for me not mine, I'd rather travel around the world telling my "think stories" in person than working with a few children at a time.

 If Hoffa had been here, I'm sure he would have been buried in the snow.

And about that odor in the Crown cottage ... we had a dead mouse in our dryer vent once. Pewwwwwww!

Hi Auntie! I have really enjoyed your pictures! I like those pumpkins.

Thunderstorms here and muggy. Funny, (but not really funny) how spring is gone in a heartbeat and summer shows up without warning. Muggy, too many bugs... One thing we always have in abundance here in Michigan, complainers! (and I'm one of them!)

Wishing you a great Saturday....hey!! I just saw a mosquito!

cheesy Thanks, Cedar - this year, I'll ask the boys from Station 1 if I can take some pics of the inside of the firehall that they decorate as a haunted firehall. With a donation in hand, anything is possible.

I have a few more of O'Malley posing for the camera and the porcupine that climbed the elm outside the kitchen window and had O'Malley growling like a dog or a mountain lion - never heard a sound like that from him before. Got a few Spring trees and flower images to share too.

Just have to find my camera cord and I'll be ready to load.

 Oh where oh where can my connection cord be oh where oh where can it be.

:hello: Hey, Crown any word on how Carl the Camel is doing and is he still enjoying time in his homeland, any plans to return soon?

Speaking of YouTube ... Remember this Jay?

And look, RJD - I found my dog's song.

The Treniers ~ Ragmop (RaggMopp)

The name of my childhood dog. A cockterrpoo mix that looked like a greyhound in the summer and a shaggy mutt in the winter.

She was my best friend and she kept quite a few secrets.

:tree: She also announced the arrival of Santa to me on Christmas Eve-early Christmas morning.

Always a treat to hear from you RadioJon....and that video was mesmerizing. The glory days of Hollywood...the best!!! Wish I could dream like that every night! Thanks dear RadioJon, Thanks!

I am pleased to report the offending odor has been eliminated by replacing the contaminated duct.
And just in time - our first renter arrives tomorrow!

Hey, Crown any word on how Carl the Camel is doing and is he still enjoying time in his homeland, any plans to return soon?
Funny you should ask.
There is interesting news about our vagabond camel who is recently back from Saudi Arabia where he has been since shortly after Christmas.
Stay tuned for the complete story, coming up tomorrow morning!
(I am finally at liberty to talk a little about his recently concluded secret "mission")

cheesy Hear that Binger? Carl the camel is back from his travels after a secret mission.

Hmmm. something tells me, a new blend of coffee might be in the horizon.

I know you preferred it down your throat, but horizon sounds better - theatrically speaking.

:treeguy: Great news! You see I had a dream about him ... it must have been a premohumption or something like that.

Oh, Carl's back with a new coffee blend alright, Auntie (some kind of a coffee-grape combo I'm afraid to ask about, let alone try) but the big news is that he was on a secret deployment by the military to do undercover work in Saudi Arabia!
With his special, er, "talents", he was a natural spy!
While he cannot reveal specifics (doesn't want to blow his cover) he was able to learn some interesting classified info while masquerading as a simple pack camel.
More news! On his return to the States, where did our friend take up residence but at the Shispering Pines! He's been incognito there for the past few weeks, taking it easy, dispensing coffee via his third hump, and eating fired twinkies like they are going out of style.
All this provided free by our grateful government.
(It's a camel's life!)

Well, Good Morning, all!

It's another bright, sunny one outside and our temp stands at 75.
The humidity was noticeably up yesterday and I believe that summer weather is just a coffee bean's throw away.

Days to the Season: 165
Days to Christmas Day: 207
'Tis but a week away from the 200-Day Christmas Day window.
Wow!

Have a Super Sunday, Special Friends!
And may the spirit of the Season be with you.
